They dropped a bolt into the engine cylinder which scarred the inside of the engine. They brought it to a shop in Denver to have the engine machined .The engine was eventually needing to be replaced because of a deep gash in the cylinder. The shop sold us a used engine from Japan and installed the used engine. The engine had numerous oil leaks, so we brought it to a different repair shop, they forgot to install a simple bolt. The negligence and incompetence of this mechanic is beyond what I've experienced anywhere I would never recommend anyone take their vehicle to Alltek. We spent over $2000 and the vehicle is not the same. We probably will end up selling it. Thanks a lot Alltek I will give you zero stars if possible. Just now we had to have a new oil pan put in because they used silicone to fix a broken bolt instead of fixing it PROPERLY! this never seems to end $500 more today!

I had a clunking noise in the front end of my 2008 Vue. I planned to replace the struts, sway…read morelinks, sway bushings, and rear shocks. I was going to do this myself, but life being what it is, I had different thoughts when the parts arrived from NAPA. I called NAPA and they suggested I take the car to C & T and ask them to install the parts. I did that. I was told they do this kind of work all the time, so I made an appointment. I arrived a little early and they got to work pretty quickly I think because I got a call not long after lunch telling me my car was finished. When I arrived, I inspected the car to make sure the parts were all installed, which they were. They had worked really fast. When I paid the labor bill, it was just a bit over what I had been told, but I had failed to say that the sway bushings were part of the job, so that's fair. The combined price of the parts and the labor was about $400 less than the quote I had gotten from a Chevy dealer to do the job, and the dealer quote also did not include the sway bushing part of the job. Chris was quite agreeable and he even rotated my tires for me at no charge. After I got the car home and had some time to take notice of a few things, I can tell that the mechanic that worked on my car saw that I had a very slow leak of something oily in nature, coming from the front left of the car. He took measures to make that right for me too. There was nothing on the bill for that. Now my garage floor is staying oil free. I am thankful. The KYB suspension parts are making a big difference in the ride quality and the noise. Now I don't feel like the front end is going to fall apart on a speedbump. I would take my vehicle to C & T again for sure.

Arrived with car barely running and prepared to install part in the parking lot, and was told, "Uh, we don't have that. We can maybe get one for you tomorrow." I insisted they find one at another Advanced, and then after another Advanced store kept them on hold for 20 minutes, "couldn't" transfer my purchase to that store and I had to pay the full amount again. If they can't do online ordering correctly, they shouldn't do it at all. And they should hire real adults to help customers, not college brats.

I then got a call on Monday from a female at the shop saying our parts were in and they would like to get me scheduled for later in the week or the following week. Which was weird because I already had an appointment for the following day. We dropped our car off early in the morning and did not hear anything all day. I called later in the afternoon and the same female answered the phone. I asked for an ETA on when our car would be done. She said she could not do that and she would call when it was done. I felt she was rude and in a hurry to get me off the phone. So I called back and asked to speak to someone else who could help me more as I was trying to plan out a ride to the shop. She again was rude saying they had a lot of cars to work on that day, which was not my issue. I felt like since I had an appointment, our car would be a priority. I then asked to speak to someone else, which she did not like. I was then able to speak to a technician who was actually able to give me an estimate. Not sure why she couldn't take the time to go and ask for an estimated time. This is a very small car shop and would not have been hard for her to do. Then when I went to pay, I was told of a 4% Credit card fee. Which added an additional 65+ dollars to our total. Why wasn't this shared with us at the beginning? I most certainly would have brought in cash. But this was 10 minutes before closing and I needed my car for the following day for a long road trip. I am not sure why it is so hard to communicate with your customers. I was not asking for a specific time for when my car was going to be done. I understand we were not the only vehicle there. But get up, walk into the shop and ask for an ETA. And why is it so hard to be transparent about a fee upfront vs. waiting until a customer comes and pays? Sometimes the little things can go a long way. We will not be back. And I know that losing our business will not hurt your shop. But good customer service can go a long way!!

After a short time they called to let me know the engine was shot & they could do a used engine with 90K on it for $6,000 to &7,000. I opted to have the car towed to the Greeley Toyota dealer, where I bought it new thinking maybe Toyota might give me a deal on a new or used car. It turned out that the engine just needed new spark plugs & one ignition coil and now it runs great. Needless to say, I will not return to Accelerated Auto for any work after such an extreme misdiagnosis. I only hope it was an honest error.
