I picked my car up from the shop earlier today because of a burning smell. Later, while driving on…read morethe highway to Maine, my car suddenly started shaking and I smelled burning again. I thought I had blown a tire, so I got off the highway and, by pure luck, pulled into Medford Gas & Service. Victor was just about to leave for the day, but he stayed late to help me. Within minutes, he found the actual cause of the problem that had been missed before and stayed even later to fix it so I could safely get back on the road. I can't thank Victor and the team enough. They are some of the kindest, most honest people I've ever met, and they truly went above and beyond. I'll only be bringing my car here from now on. I couldn't recommend Medford Gas & Service more highly!

He didn't say anything when he finished fueling my car, just looked at me, confused, waving me on. When he came to my window I said "Can I get a receipt or something?" He responds "Receipt?" like he doesn't understand me. I turn on my car to see if he actually filled it or not, said whatever and drove off. I got to Waverley Square by 4:45pm and Anthony was kind enough to take me in. Within 15 minutes, my car got a new sticker and I was on my way home.

This shop did not pass my car for minimal tint and I mean I did not even know it had tint, that is how minor this tint is!!! Car has passed this same inspection several times before and I have not changed anything or done anything to the windows. There were several other cars in their garage with darker tint than mine and he said well, they are not here for an inspection. he handed me the law that explicitly says that "the vehicle cannot have aftermarket tinting on the windshield or on the windows to the left or right of the driver." But the tint they failed me for is on the back windows not the front or the driver sides. What a joke! I do not recommend bringing your car here for an inspection. BTW- Thank you NH police for all you do, I do appreciate you, do not appreciate this shop.

While they pushed me hard to have the repair done immediately, I instead went home, lifted the car, and checked myself. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, boot was intact, and I hadn't heard any issues coming from the right-side when driving. A week later, I took my vehicle to a dealership and they confirmed that nothing is wrong. The dealership even asked for the name of this shop so they could report it to the BBB. They also do not wear masks inside the shop. Beware!

I'm actually astonished they're still in business. I went in for my state inspection sticker & they claimed my ~6 month old perfectly working windshield wipers needed to be replaced, otherwise they will fail the inspection. I asked the scam artist to show me what was wrong, he reached in & pulled on the wiper switch & wasted my wiper fluids to show me that absolutely nothing was wrong. They were going to charge $75 dollars to change a pair of windshield wipers that would cost no more than $10 and takes no more than 10 seconds to do, that's robbery in broad daylight, folks. I told family members about it, "...that shady ass shop next to that Chinese take out place on Main St.?" I hear someone say. Surprise surprise, turns out my dad and brother went through the same exact experience. Coincidence it is not, I reckon this happens on the daily. If you've already paid these schmucks the inspection fee but not the robbery fee, then buy a brand new pair of windshield wipers elsewhere, bring it back to this shop & change it in front of them if you have to, get a re-test & sticker, and never return.
