I am very impressed with this place. These guys are so knowledgeable and so helpful. They can really tell you and educate you on the issues going on in your car. I highly recommend coming and getting your car parts checked. They checked my battery and even though I was told my alternator was bad, we found out that there was no issue with the alternator. I recently bought Nu Finish Scratch Doctor from them. The product was completely worthless - it didn't even reduce the appearance of scratches. The bottle says "Money back guarantee - Satisfaction guaranteed or return unused portion to place of purchase for full refund". However, when I tried to return it, the Autozone manager in Oldsmar said that they don't give refunds for open product. 1) Um, how am I to know if I'm satisfied if I don't try it? 2) And the guarantee says to return "unused portion". 3) Turns out that there's no place on the Nu Finish (Reed-Union Corp) website for requesting a refund so now I have to jump through hoops to try to call them (I know what they're going to say of course....). Bottom line, instead of honoring a printed commitment to refund my money after selling me a crap product, AutoZone in Oldsmar FL would prefer to lose a customer. They did. From now on I will go RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET to Advance Auto. read more

I don't have to frequent auto stores often, but recently my car wouldn't start and we assumed it was the battery. Autozone was close to my work and we took my battery in to be tested. In all honestly I hate going to these places; I feel like the employees aren't usually very helpful and/or the stores themselves are always kind of dirty to me. This autozone was awesome! Three guys offered to help me. I ended up dealing with Bo Garcia (his full name was on his nametag) and he was very friendly, not pushy and tested my battery. It was too low, so he charged my battery and told me to come back in one hour. I know that is all standard business procedure, but Bo and the other guys working there were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. It was a Friday night and while I wasn't planning to spend my Friday evening hanging at the AutoZone in Oldsmar, it was a pleasant experience considering my car had died. The store itself was very clean and seemed well maintained. It didn't turn out to be my battery but when/if I need auto supplies or have another car issue (I am hoping not soon!), I will absolutely go back to this AutoZone. read more

I came here to test my car battery. The first gentleman that helped me advised that the battery was bad. I was going to take my car to my mechanic, but it wouldn't start again after I shut it off. I spoke with a different gentleman named Bo, who advised against jump starting it. He offered to jump start but advised that it would need to be replaced right away. I decided to have it replaced there. Bo was so friendly and helpful. He walked through every part he needed to replace the battery so I knew exactly what I was being charged for. Then when he was replacing the battery, he discovered an issue with my A/C line and helped find a temporary solution until I can bring it to my mechanic. The level of service he provided was above and beyond the service you receive at most places these days. I truly appreciate his help and his demeanor. read more
