Walked in for 1pm tire replacement appointment and line of 5 people in front of me. They make you wait in line if you already made an appointment which is ridiculous. I waited about 25 mins just to check in. Only one person working the front desk is why, they need to add another person. By 2pm they still hadn't gotten to my car. Appointments are a joke ofc. Thank be to god there is Dunkins here with free WiFi to wait in. Next time I'll drop it off instead of waiting for it. read more

My original tires had 60,000 miles on them and were about worn out. I've purchased tires at Walmart before because they offer a decent product at a fair price and more importantly, have a large network of other Walmart Auto Centers available to handle tire problems when I'm travelling. (Note: I formerly purchased tires at Sears Auto Centers for the same reason but a majority of the Sears Auto Centers have closed) I looked at the available tires online and knew what would fit my vehicle, so I went to the location in Oldsmar and told the Service Advisor that I wished to purchase four tires and I wished them mounted and balanced with new valve stems and the nationwide warranty. The Service Advisor replied that they now operated by appointment only and the next available appointment was in a WEEK! Well, sheesh! I wasn't going on a long trip in the next week, and the tires still were OK for around town use, so I agreed to return in a week. The next week I arrived for my 11:00 AM appointment at 10:40AM. The Service Advisor told me I was early, and he wasn't allowed to check me in before 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, so we looked at each other for the next 5 minutes until he checked me in. He told me replacing the tires on my vehicle it would be about an hour. (Note: Walmart doesn't have a waiting area) I wandered around Walmart for 30 minutes but got tired and returned to the Auto Center only to discover my vehicle hadn't been moved. I went outside and found a place in the shade (warmish shade, it was 90+ degrees) at the Steak and Shake next door where I could monitor progress while sitting down.I waited another 30 minutes and was about to cancel my work when a technician got my vehicle and started the tire replacement process, which took about 45 minutes. The good: Decent product, fair price,close to home, large network of outlets in case of trouble, great warranty. I've been coming here for years with Hunt any issues. The service has always been fine unfortunately wait times have always been four hours or more. What really put a bad taste in my mouth is that the tires on my vehicle are worn down to the exact measurement where they can decide to repair the tire or not. And they have chosen not to repair the tire but instead attempt to try to sell me on new tires. For a customer who has spent the amount of time with them as I have I would have expected a exception. Seeing as the new tires for both my vehicles were going to be Bought here within a month. Now that I see how they treat long-standing customers I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Some of these reviews unfortunately are a touch ridiculous. Of course you have to wait, that's the world and more so now than ever. The people that work here are nice and will take you here as a walk in for almost anything but yes there will be a wait time and it could be a couple hours or more but they can't magically make more staff or less work happen. You can always drop your car and figure out an arrangement for you to go on about your day in the meantime. :) to the automotive center- thanks for the great work! read more

if I could give this business no stars I would.went there on a thursday afternoon a week ago for an oil change.they said they'd get my car in ASAP so only having one car I had to wait in the waiting room.15 minutes later a mechanic and I guess a manager walked in and said they couldn't complete the job because they couldn't get the drain plug out because it was too tight and they rounded the plugs head off.the mechanic even admitted to using a cheater bar to get the plug off.I called the shop who did the last change and they said to bring it in.took it there they showed me the rounded head before they proceeded with the job.they had to use an extractor because of the condition of the plug which they said wasn't even tight and a misuse of tools caused the rounded head.I took the plug back to Walmart today and the manager refused to give me a credit for the 7 dollar plug I had to pay to replace because of his mechanics incompetence.he basically called me a liar and stuck up for the mechanic.he handled the situation so poorly I was amazed.he has 0 managerial skills.please dont take your car here since they don't stand behind their work.go to an ASE certfied shop.I wouldn't let these guys change a lightbulb on my car. read more

Got there after 630p with a flat, the tire manager (forgetting his name) accomodated me late otherwise I would've been screwed. Replaced all 4 tires within an hour and I was off on my way. Excellent service, helped me out when I was in a pinch. Thanks again! read more

I walked in this morning with 2 cars in front of me for an oil change. The technician at the register asked me all the basic questions. He than advised it would be a 1.5 hour wait. He reminded me there were two vehicles in front of me. WOW a oil change that takes 45 minutes. I asked if they take appointments and he advised NO. I said I cannot wait as I had to get to the office. The person that came up right behind me asked how long for an oil change and the same person replied 45 minutes to an hour. REALLY. I intend to call the management advising of the rude way in which I was treated and how a woman was treated differently than the man that came up seconds behind me. I would give a zero if that were an option! No cars in the bays when I arrived. Write up person did not come out to my car. After 10 minutes I went inside. Waited another ten minutes for someone to show up. Asked for oil change and tire rotation/balance and to please put air in the tires, my low tire pressure lite was on. Told I needed appt for the tires. Well can you do the oil change and put air in the tires for me - they are under warranty. Was told they could not touch the tires! Seriously? I also left without the oil change! Been going to this location for 12 years and will never go back! OS. There were six employees standing around inside of the bays with no cars! read more
