I go to the autozone in bremerton Washington all the time to buy my parts and rent tools and never in over a year did I have any problems.. until this week. I rented two sets of tools to fix my water pump paying over $160.00 rental. Half cash and half debit card. Two days later returned both sets of tools and got $76 cash back and the rest returned to my cash app card and bank card, then noticed that the money was deposited but then taken back off my accounts. So I got hit for over $80.00 by this company plus I was shorted $6.00 total. So I ended up not even getting all my money back.. only half. And to add insult to it all I walked out of the store after buying an $8.00 socket and the alarm went off as I left and the dude followed me out the store and accused me of stealing. I emptied my pockets and they took the security tab off the tool I bought and scanned it again really fast but they continued to accuse me of stealing. But I'm the one missing$80.00. Never go here. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. If I need a light on my car replaced they gladly do it. Not very mechanical. Big shout out to Justin who last time replaced my rear brake like light and Willy who recommended a great oil change spot that I had done that day at a great price! I appreciate all the staff. With all that's going on with the COVID-19 pandemic and everyone here in WA being locked down, nearly the LAST thing I needed after working a full day was to have a dead car battery! However, a kind soul gave me a jump start and I headed to my local AutoZone store (Bremerton, 6th St) with fingers crossed that they would be open. It was 6:24 pm as I pulled into the parking lot and their sign said they would be closing at 6:30. Much to my utter amazement, not only were they open later than the sign stated, even with the COVID-19 restrictions, the Manager himself installed the battery for me! Hallelujah! read more

We took our car battery here to get charged up and the staff said the battery was fine. The mechanic we went to afterwards said the battery was the only problem. Ended costing us more than twice what it would have to buy a new battery and put it in ourselves. read more

I walked in with my foot in a boot and a cane and they were so helpful I thought they were going to carry me around the store. I was going to go on a long road trip, and I when I told them that, they wanted to sell me half the store, just to make sure I'd make it back to California. I like friendly people. I go here quite a bit and the staff is always helpful and don't make me feel dumb when I ask dumb questions which I often do. My last visit was for what I believed was a bad battery. I went in for a new one but they offered to test mine and attempted to charge it before I spent the money for a new one. Mine was in fact bad but it was cool that they wanted to make sure. In addition, I was trying to change wiper blades using a YouTube tutorial. One of the staff saw me while she was on break and came over to show me how to do it. No support or service through AutoZone, Fuson Rd, Bremerton, WA, or from AutoZone Corporate. Ordered a Tristar long block engine back in October of 2020 and the nightmare finally ended the end of April 2021. The first engine came with no valves adjusted and a host of other problems. David, manager of AutoZone in Bremerton, referred us to the company as it was "not their problem". Tristar worked with our certified mechanic but ultimately ended up sending out a second engine in December. It came with a cracked block. Meanwhile, despite being told he would be paid under the warranty for work which they authorized, our mechanic was not. AutoZone claimed it should be Tristar paying and did not do a thing to help. More back and forth with Tristar and Autozone in an attempt to get him paid and another engine for the car. Finally, in March 2021, a third engine was sent but our mechanic was unwilling to put it in because he hadn't been paid for work done on the first one. We contacted AutoZone Corporate as AutoZone is who sold us the engine and we felt they should be standing behind a product they sell. It was a joke. With several emails sent and phone calls made, we had a couple of responses expressing "how frustrating this must be for us" and that was about it. Our mechanic put the third engine in, on his and our dime and, thankfully, this one is working great. We will not purchase anything from AutoZone again and would discourage others from doing so as well. read more
