BEWARE OF BUYING USED VEHICLES FROM RANDY KUEHL HONDA IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA…read more I bought a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan from them on March 12, 2026 for over $13,000. The dealership-provided CarFax claimed the engine had been serviced and the vehicle a "must-see, must-drive, must-own". Less than ONE MONTH later -- after driving only 367 miles -- the van broke down and would not start. In the next two weeks, I took it to two separate mechanics, and they told me the engine needs replaced or rebuilt (around $10,000 in repairs) due to major internal engine damage that would have existed before the sale. When I contacted Randy Kuehl Honda about the issue, they offered me $1,000 toward repairs. That does not come close to covering the estimated repair costs, nor the loss in value on a vehicle I had just purchased for over $13,000 less than a month earlier. I understand used vehicles are sold as-is, but having catastrophic engine failure less than a month after purchase and after only 367 miles -- combined with documentation claiming the engine had just been serviced -- has been an extremely disappointing experience. My vehicle is no longer worth the over $13,000 that I just paid for it, but a diminished value of about $3,000 to $4,000 due to having to have a complete new motor costing over $10,000 with motor and labor. Please share so others are warned before buying from them.

Ive done business with them for 5 years. They hire a new general manager and he has no respect for…read morecustomers and no regard for family safety. I bought 2 vehicles from them and because one was a lemon and had multiple repairs under warranty and others that were supposed to be under warranty, but they said that part was not covered. I went in to see why they canceled multiple times for a repair I needed and when I was there they reccomended I should go to the Audi dealer instead. As I was driving to the Audi dealer I received a phone call from the general manager saying that I am always mad and he Milo get wants me to come to the business. And he was calling to make sure I did not write a bad review or as he said blow them up online. I explained that they have been trying to fix the same issues multiple times and that is why I am in a bad mood. So a couple months have gone by and I did not write any reviews but I am now because I was having work done at the neighboring mechanic shop and they noticed I was missing a lug nut They said to go next door to euro and buy one. I went o er there and the manager came out and said he would not sell me a lug nut and told me to go somewhere else. Said he does not want to do business with me. So my families safety was definitely not a concern for him. This used to be a good company but the new manager is not a good person. I will add that the service manager D.J. is a great person and the only reason I have stayed doing business with them this long and bought a second vehicle. I trust D.J. and believe he tried to do the best he could with what the company allowed. Based on the general managers demeanor, and just friendliness and professionalism I would NOT recommend this company anymore.

You sold my daughter a 2025 Volvo xc40 last week with a SALVAGE TITLE you know LEMON TITLE for full…read moreretail price and took her trade in on top of that. Tommy absolutely knows what he did he called it a by back and did not disclose that means a LEMON TITLE after she tried to bring the car back after only 2 hours after her insurance company would not give her full coverage on the vehicle because of the title. Tommy got brave and called her liar when Kyle the sales manger came into the room & Kyle co-signed by telling her she could not return the vehicle after 2 hours because they did not want the vehicle back because now the 2025 has had 3 owners on the title or some B.S. he cooked up any how this is my daughter they ripped off I just want to know how Tommy & Kyle would feel if this was their daughter that had been taken advantage of. I will be posting this on Google, Facebook Tic-toc, Instagram & asking the local news outlets if they are interested in a story of how one local car dealership takes advantage of people with deceptive sales tactics. EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM EUOPEAN MOTORS!!!
