For context, another store not only tried to tell me that just changing the battery would mean I'd need to "reprogram" the whole key fob (which is completely false), they also said I'd basically be taking a gamble if I bought the battery from them. This guy quickly swapped the battery for me and (surprise) it worked perfectly without needing to "reprogram" anything, no gamble required. 10/10 service. I really appreciate people who actually care about customers.

He stated "If you need tools you'll have to buy them our tools don't leave the premises." I asked if I could leave my drivers license because it would only take a few minutes. He said no. I felt like he made a bad judgement call under the circumstances So I went elsewhere and spent $200.00 on a new battery and a couple of tools. This is the closest auto parts store to me. Regardless, Gupton failed to honestly own up to their mistake, which was quite maddening. When I showed interest in a comparable vehicle, since the one I preferred was sold out from under me, Gupton dragged their feet on matching the deal we'd already agreed upon. Really bad impression of these guys -- not only failing to own up to their mistakes, but also not even making an effort to make it right with the customer... I of course knew my breaks was scrubbing and was extremely low which is why I stopped by. He said I needed a rotor and my right break pad was ok but left side was not. The rotor he priced with labor out the door was $800+. He wanted to be rude by bringing the other guys around to show how bad it was. Then when I was getting ready to go he was trying to be funny and say how I'm a disgrace and could go out and kill somebody bc of the condition of my break and he's seems 2-3 accidents happen in front of the shoppe because of bad breaks. I get it he was trying to sale me on it. Then he said before I had to leave he wanted me to sign some type of waiver tha if I go and kill someone he's not at fault. Of course I told him no unless my lawyer was present. Fast forward today I took it to a mechanic and he said me where the right side break pads are less than 10% and how how they used a really cheap brand pads and that's why they wore so quickly.
