It wasn't really raining outside and I thought they could easily change my battery that I couldn't. Seems to me they were afraid of water.

I have a healthy distrust of mechanics after a lifetime of doing my own repairs and getting robbed…read moreany time I needed to have work done I didn't have specialized tools for. When it came time to get a leveling kit for my truck, there weren't many options in town. 831 Trucks were the highest rated. So I went in for an estimate. Starting with the service... the level of honesty and customer service here is absolutely unrivaled. I like to off-road, but this truck is also my daily driver, so I was torn on getting a 3.5" lift, or just a leveling kit to get some much needed front end clearance. They could have taken the chance to try and upsell me on the much more expensive lift, but that's not what they did. They asked questions about my driving habits, do I tow, how often do I off-road, and suggested that the leveling kit would be much more effective for my use, and much less expensive. Wow! The estimate wasn't gouging. No giant part markups here, just what they cost, and I checked. The work was done in half a day, and it was done very well. The next morning I noticed the front end suspension on the driver side was making some wild noises. So I took it back, they looked at it for no charge, and let me know that my struts had reached the end of their life after 118k miles. Fair enough! They suggested a part, provided a competitive quote (again, no part markups), and had it installed in less than half a day after I got back from my weekend getaway. Because the new shocks were also leveling, and I had just been there, they very generously adjusted the cost. It made a customer for life. The new ride is incredible, and after having crawled around under the truck, the workmanship is fantastic. I had noticed what looked like coolant on my driveway, and when I picked the truck up from the shock install, they let me know it looked like my water pump was leaking. No upsell, no push to have the work done. They said they noticed the leak, suggested the work, and let me know they were there if needed. I got it home and traced the leak to the gaskets on my pump. At 120k miles, I'd say it reached the end of its operable life. Guess where I'll be going to get that taken care of? Thanks for being awesome, 831 Trucks.

I parked in a clear driveway, went in to look for interior parts, and everything was fine... until I tried to leave. When I came back outside, the workers had thrown a plastic mesh/net directly behind my car while loading crushed vehicles. I waited, then asked how long it would take for them to finish, and one of their employees screamed at me: "Hurry the f* up and go! What are you waiting for!?"** Following his orders, I reversed -- and THEIR mesh got sucked under my car, destroying my speed sensor, torque converter, seals, and gaskets. A simple visit turned into a major repair bill because they can't keep their work area safe or professional. When I tried reaching out, the "owner" is never there. I called the number online and some guy named John answered. When I asked for the owner, he said he's "basically the owner." Then he accused ME of "running over their fence" and asked if I "wanted money." No accountability. No apology. No solution. All I asked was for them to repair the damage THEY caused or provide the parts they already have lying around -- which would cost them NOTHING. Instead, they've ignored me for weeks, while I'm stuck walking everywhere because their negligence wrecked my car. The way this business treats customers is unacceptable. The way they avoid responsibility is pathetic. And now, since they refuse to make it right, I am officially taking legal action

I didn't get the contact info or name of the vendor I spoke with but he assured me the saddle I was purchasing would fit my bike perfectly. When I received my saddle, it was approximately two inches too short for my bike. I was able to contact customer support and they advised me the saddle I had received appeared to be for a regular Dyna Glide and not a Dyna Wide Glide. There are a few key differences in the seats according to the model of bike that don't allow for them to be interchangeable. One difference being placement of the rear fender tab bolt. Customer support advised they would ship out a longer fender tab bracket to make the seat work on my bike. I received the new one inch longer bracket and it looked like someone had just cut a piece of flat stock and drilled some holes in it and called it good. It wasn't sanded, polished or anything. I placed the new, longer, gaudy looking bracket on my brand new Corbin saddle at the maximum length setting and it was still too short to reach my rear fender tab bolt. I proceeded to reach back out to customer service stating I wanted to ship the seat back and a refund due to the fact they could not get their product right and customer support was just trying to make the wrong seat to work. They advised me they could cut another even longer bracket with more length adjustability, however they could not issue a refund or give me any other option to remedy the issue.
