I don't often post negative reviews but this experience warrants it…read more My battery died and roadside gave me a jump so I could go to have the battery replaced. I checked with O'Reilly and was told they could so I went there as it was closer. The employee with a long ponytail checked the battery, confirmed it was dead, and proceeded to checking me out but said they couldn't replace it, mumbled something about liability. I went out to try and start my car to go elsewhere and it was dead again. I asked if there was anything I could do like sign a waiver as I couldn't go elsewhere. His only answers to any of my questions were "what do you mean?" and "I don't know", simple questions like can someone help me, jump me off, or do anything. I asked to speak to the manager who was obviously annoyed, he must have had lunch interrupted. I was trying very hard not to be angry or short but explained the situation. He was short and curt but did explain the policy the other guy didn't know. He asked if anyone offered to give me a jump and I told him his associate gave up doing anything after seeing the note in the computer. I thanked him for at showing he could listen and went to Goodyear. It's much less about a policy to not install "difficult" batteries but more about being told they could then having people shrug when asked for help. Never again.

Would be nice if this place had better people to wait on you and not look like they're half tired…read moreor drunk or high. Tried ripping me off by $5 too, cause I'm a girl huh? Only thing is I spent 10 yrs in the auto parts business honey! Customer service has gone down hill for sure in the last 10 yrs.

You guys get ZERO as a review but I can't even give you that…read more I was completely treated like I was worthless by 'Mike' when I asked to see a section of a wiring harness for my Nissan Maxima before purchasing it for $30.... (Which is completely overpriced.... A piece of wiring that is 2 inches long.) I guess because I'm a woman and I wanted to ask a question in regards to being the correct part and he wasn't happy about it. He looked at me like I was an idiot and like I didn't know what I was talking about and they proceeded to tell me to leave ... I know what I'm talking about and I know what I need. Either way I'll never go there again, I deserve to be treated with respect to my questions to be answered correctly. And I should be allowed to look at the item before I purchase it. I suggest if any of you are questioning whether or you should go there or not... DONT. They will treat and talk to you like you're an idiot and give you overpriced, off the top of their head, roundabout numbers for parts that you don't even get to look at before they "pull".

While we adventure-d out way to Nashville for a birthday adventure weekend our trip hit a bit of a…read morebump when the vehicle's radiator hose started spewing fluid. Oh no! "Where even is La Vergn, TN" we thought. With a call to a friend's handyman boyfriend we found that it was a pretty simple fix and that we should be able to get the part fairly easily at a Advance Auto Parts store. Lucky for us (we thought) we are a few miles away. We walked in and explained our situation to the gentleman at the counter and he looked at us and said that there was nothing that he could do, that they did not have the part and we wouldn't be able to get it fixed that easily. Well, thank you sir. Our followup question was about if there was someplace near that he trusted that might be able to take a look at it... and his response was, " Well, you know that if you just go on out there (as he points towards the exit) there are a few shops across the street." Thank you. Ugh. Away we went to call around, in an unfamiliar town, to find a reputable servicer ... after a lot of phone calls to people in the area (who were all out of town...man.) my friend decided to go back in and see if we could at least purchase the part. Figuring that might save us some money and the guess work of seeing if the next stop, a mechanics shop, had the part in. Praise the Lamb, a gentleman named Milton was working and helped my friend find the part and came out to take a look at the car with us. Even though he wasn't able to help us himself, I appreciated that he tried to take a look at what was going on and then was also able to point us in the direction of a mechanic shop that he would feel safe sending his momma to. Thank you, Milton, for changing our experience with this location significantly.
