Ed and his team are the kind of guys you want at your car shop. They know basically everything there is to know about Honda and Acura (and most other cars for that matter). They've gone to bat for us over the years in many ways, from helping us push for financing on an older, but golden egg, Accord to helping seek out an auction buy under book value to roll over a loan to when my transmission died in one TL. Their car sales operation has been wonderful over the years for our family. We have bought five cars from them over the years and been happy every time. They do top-notch work and have a good deal of knowledge and talent. I have been using Accurate Auto for service on my Honda's for several years. I always get good service from very knowledgeable technicians. During a large repair to the engine on our Odyssey, my wife was given a loaner car, at no cost for the duration of the repair. We came here when another shop was unable to clear a transmission warning light on the car. Accurate fixed the defective sensor and we had the car back next day. They are also the closest shop to where we live. It's a win win! read more

Do you have a Honda or an Acura? If not, you'd wish you did so you could just take your car here and let them work on it. I'll share a story and maybe you'll take your car here too. I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX. I love that car, yet I also hate it. I've taken it to other shops before but I always feel like they just "figure it out" because they don't really KNOW my vehicle. I also feel like other shops just fix whatever and don't really inform me of what the problem was or help me understand how it happened. So my car was leaking oil so I took it in to Accurate Automotive after my boss said he took his cars here for the past 15 years. So I drop my car off at the lot and I call them the next day. I spoke to a guy (I this it was Troy) and he was really honest with me. He told me "you've got a leak somewhere, that's for sure. But really, you're burning more than you're leaking. My advice is to just add a quart of oil every month because it's just not worth it to take the engine apart and find the leak." I was shocked! I loved how honest he was - and the fact that he wasn't looking to make a bunch of money made me even happier. I feel like their motivation was to keep my car running well but also keep my costs down. Perfect. I then begin to rattle off everything that has ever been told to me that was wrong with the car - and he said he'd take a look at everything. I received a call the next day and he informed me that my ignition coil was burned out and it was due to some other shop replacing my wires (the ones that go to the spark plugs from the distributor cap/rotor) with ones that are not good for Hondas. I told him to replace everything and then he told me it would be ready the next day. I go in the next day and my car is ready before he told me it would be. He then came out himself and showed me the old parts from my car and exactly what was wrong with them. He explained to me everything and I felt like I got my money's worth - and then some. He really knew Hondas. This place specialized in Hondas and Acuras. If you have one of these makes I highly recommend this place. read more

My Acura was due for 60k maintenance. Rather than pay the extortion rates the the dealer charges, I decided to seek out alternative service. My requirements are open on Saturdays and must include wifi in the waiting area. I searched around and Yelp led me to Accurate Automotive who specialize in Honda and Acura vehicles. Checked out their website, it appears they satisfied all my requirements. Gave them a call, got the price for the service, and had an appointment scheduled within a couple of days. Total charge for the service was quoted at $360. Considering this is only a little bit more than the Acura dealer charges for just an oil change, I was completely okay with this price. Fast forward to my service date... walking in I see a beautiful blue NSX in the service lobby. Off the bat that is a good sign. The lobby isn't as luxurious as the dealer's shop but they have wifi so that is all that mattered to me. Two and a half hours later my 60k service was complete and I was on my way. The total bill was a little more more than the original estimate but I wasn't about to squabble over $30. I'll be coming back the next time I need service. read more

I came by with my 06 Accord and had Troy look at it for a vibration under acceleration. He let me look at the underside of the car and told me the problem was the inner cv axle, gave me the option to change it, but let me know, it'll just be annoying but it's not going to break down on you. You can let it go for now. I'm driving to California and he even said I could wait until then and have someone replace it. I asked a bunch of questions on various parts of the car- tracking to the left on the highway, clutch pedal stick occasionally. He checked them all out and answered honestly. Not once pressuring me into paying to get them fixed. He gave the prices and advised whether it needed to be fixed urgently or not. By the way, he did this all for free. The service here is great...very friendly. The first time I visited, I brought my used Acura MDX (that I had just purchased) to have them to give me a tip to tail evaluation to see if anything needed repairing. Surprisingly, nothing did. I expected "something" would be wrong, since it seems that everywhere you bring a car, they find something wrong. But not only did I get a clean bill of health, I got a 20 minute detailed explanation of my new/used car, about some of the features (it's a tech edition) and tips on servicing it. So...because I had such a good experience the first time, I took it back for the first major repair. And what I liked about this visit was that they gave me an estimate over the phone without hemming and hawing and the typically "well we have to look at it first" response. I also got the same level of friendly service I had before. While it takes a good 30 mins for me to get to this shop, I'll keep coming back if this trend continues. read more

Definately will never go back again! I bought my 18 year old daughter a car from them in June and it has been nothing but problems and extra money spent on it since. Within the first week of buying the car we found that there was not a light bulb in the drivers side turn signal, had to take it back, then the front started making a noise a day or two later, took it back again, it turned out to be a missing cotter pin that holds the axle nut on, that was removed when they had performed work to the car, and we were charged for there mistake to put it back on. All was well for about a month then we noticed oil spots all over the drive way in August, took it in again and was charged $100 for them to clean the engine which took all of 30 minutes and told to bring it back in 4 days with no answer as to why it is leaking oil all over the place! No thanks I will take it to a dealership where I know the work will be completed correctly.Really, is this how a place does business! Take advantage of an 18 year old young lady. Your business should be ashamed of itself. If your looking for a reliable car or a good mechanic this is not the place to be. read more

I have been an Accurate customer since 2008. They have serviced two of my Acuras and my Honda Pilot that I purchased from them. Their work is always done on time and without issues. The service has included basic services like oil changes and serious work like timing belts. I have never experienced any issues with the work performed by Accurate. I always find them honest and very reasonably priced. The waiting area is sufficient for me to get work done while I wait (free Wi-Fi and coffee are a nice perk). read more

All I can say is that if you choose to get a used engine put into your car at Accurate Automotive, please make sure you do two things...ask what else might need replaced due to an engine replacement (my catalytic converter and oxygen sensors had to be replaced due to a check engine light the day I drove it off their lot). I had not factored that cost into my decision to replace the engine. Also...if you choose to have your engine replaced, get the mileage of the new engine IN WRITING. I received no documentation with the invoice and shame on me for overlooking that. Now the insurance company won't take my word for it (imagine that) and I am getting $1,400 less in the value for my totaled car because I can't prove the mileage on the engine. Unacceptable...I won't be back. read more

We bought a ridgeliner from Ed online from Ebay they are the best we picked up the car they did a front end allign , new wipers. They go beyond the call and if I lived in Nashville I woulg go to them for service. They use Honda parts not aftermarket. My ridgeliner is Super just alittle larger than I thought but I truly love the truck and Ed was a great person to work with. read more
