Customer service needs some work. I went in to inquire about a battery testing/charge. Never had this done before, so I wasn't aware that I needed to personally bring the battery in as it's not stated online. Before I could even finish my sentence the kid was already shaking his head saying they can't do it. How shitty, is that? I would have had no problem waiting, paying for the removal as well as the reprogramming of the battery. However the kid didn't even bother to provide these options or alternatives until I asked for details as to why. I get it, he's not a mechanic, but some info as to what they could have done would have been nice. Just a shaken head, "no we can't do it on a 2020". His attitude and approach was shit. Like he didn't even want to be there. Busy or not, thats no excuse in the service & lack of help. It's part of the job. Thank goodness I didn't call as one older woman told another employee to, "hang up the phone don't wait for a response." Had my service been choppy, surely I would've been hung up on. This location is a complete joke! I recently visited AutoZone to find spray paint for my car's leather seats. I wasn't sure if they carried leather spray paint, but since this location was next to another store I was visiting, I decided to check. After looking around, I noticed that all the spray cans were locked up, making it difficult to read the labels. I asked an associate, HUMBERTO , for help. He told me to hold on, and after a few minutes, he finally came over. When I asked if they had leather spray paint for car seats, he replied, "I don't think so." I then asked if they carried any spray paint for vinyl, car interiors, dashboards--anything along those lines. His response was a shrug. Trying to clarify, I asked, "Well, what kind of paint do you have?" His answer? "I don't really know. I don't know much about paint." I was surprised by his lack of product knowledge, but even more so by his dismissive attitude. When I asked if he could find someone who did know, he just shrugged again. At this point, I told him he needed to work on his customer service because he was being incredibly unhelpful and rude. That's when things escalated. Humberto became aggressive, got in my face, and actually threatened me. He told me that I should be glad he was at work, implying that if he wasn't, things would escalate further. Then, he outright told me to come back when he was off the clock so he could "show me what's up." I was completely caught off guard. A simple inquiry about spray paint had turned into an employee taunting and intimidating me. After about 30 seconds of this behavior, I asked to speak to the manager, who had witnessed the entire exchange. Shockingly, the manager seemed indifferent and completely unconcerned. When I explained what had happened, Humberto lied and claimed that I had threatened him. The manager's response? A half-hearted "I'll talk to him" before dismissing me. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, and I understand that employees can have bad days. However, threatening a customer and showing zero professionalism is completely inexcusable. The manager's dismissive attitude only made it worse. If this is the level of customer service AutoZone finds acceptable, then I'll take my business elsewhere. Next time, I'll order from Amazon or Walmart--where I won't have to deal with this kind of behavior. read more

It came out multiple times already the next day while driving, putting my life in danger! I went there telling them about this happening and the same boss said he wouldn't fix their SERIOUS AND LIFE-THREATENING problem they caused, saying I "signed a waiver" and I'm like "I guess you don't care about human life, and more about paper!" I came here in a bit of a panic ready to ask a million basic questions expecting the worst and having to replace and alternator in my 2015 Crosstrek. I was super lucky that every time I come to this autozone I'm never judged and I find people that help me find the solution to my problem. Alejandra C. Who is the parts services manager based on their name tag! She was able to determine for me that I did have a bad battery. And she was able to look up my purchase of this battery from them I got last year and see that it was under warranty still! I forgot my socket wrench to take the battery out and she even helped me do that! She quickly and efficiently swapped then after and offered some sound guidance on how to avoid the problem and what kind of service I could get that may help do to the state of the negative terminal. I came in the store on Sat. 7/30/16 to pick up a part that I needed for my car. In came in this man who had the worst attitude. Now many people might assume that I can not understand or speak spanish but I am fluent in my language. He wanted service immediately not seeing that there were others, like myself, who needed to be attended first. I notice that there was a female manager on the register helping us out and this sexest pig comes in talking crazy as if WOMEN don't know how to fix cars or understand the value of parts. It was just mind blowing that NONE of the MALE staff came to help out the situation. My question is DOES AUTOZONE CONDONE SEXISM within their staff members? Why is when I come into any AUTOZONE male staff don't take women staff seriously? Seriously, if I was the manager I would have kicked him out of the store. Managers of any gender have the right to refuse a customer and he sure enough was one of them. Especially, since he came into the store ignoring others in front of him looking to be serviced and chewing out someone who was clearly helping him. Next time, I will open my mouth of that happens again when I go in that store and step up since staff can't do it for their fellow staff members. I wrote a positive review for this location before but I have to review again because it changed my life! So my car front window was soooo dirty. I tried to use all these different types of window cleaners and it just got worse and worse and I began to not be able to see clearly while driving because all the swiping just made more marks and it was actually very scary driving like that. I'm surprised i didn't get pulled over because I probably wasn't driving straight. I decided to come back here and I asked the worker if they can suggest a car windshield cleaner than REALLY works, and not just sell me the most epensive one. I don't want to advertise other companies on this review so I won't say the brand name but the cashier at first was nervous because they didn't want to be liable for suggesting something and then me, the customer, storm in all upset and blame them and demand for a new windshield. I totally understand this. I am the same way when I work. I always make sure the customer knows that whatever they chose it was ultimately their choice, not us. But I pleaded for their help because I was so desperate from fear of ever driving my car again. So he asked his manager and his manager gave HIS opinion, and ultimately it was MY decision to follow his opinion, and let me tell you, this is one of the times that you guys want to take credit because my GOD my window is SO CLEAR. Honestly, I use this product on almost everything now in my HOUSE, not my car but my HOUSE. It works on my mirrors. =X . I don't know if it's OK to use it on everything but It literally makes everything SHINY. Please do not copy me because of what I wrote. I don't k now if it's really OK to use on other things but you can do it at your own free will if you'd like. But it's changed my life. (You know you're getting old when you're saying a cleaning product has changed your life). No but sesriously, THANK YOU. It got dark by the time we were able to swap out my battery (it had horribly corroded) but I am so grateful that he was able to assist me because it meant I was able to drive home. I was impressed w/ the service here today--there were 2 girls & 1 guy, all of which were very friendly & helpful towards myself & all of the other customers I saw them help. I wouldn't normally write a review for a run-of-the-mill auto store, but the service was excellent. I told one of the girls I thought my battery was dead & she said the guy will be right back & will help me. I didn't even have to remind them I was there, as soon as the guy was back, he came looking for me to check my battery! He hooked it up, it was dead so the girls helped me find 3 options that worked w/ my car. The cheapest one ended up being able to fit for my car model & the guy helped me install if, which was a total lifesaver. I tried to tip him, because I really appreciated his help (& because it was pretty hot outside & he had to come out twice to help me w/ my car), but he was very professional & refused the tip saying company policy doesn't let them accept tips--professional, friendly & honest! Friendly greetings when you walk into any store kind of freaks me out and at the same time, I really like it. They did that here and it seemed genuine. As someone who worked customer service for many years, I notice that kind of stuff. The store is clean and pretty well stocked. I knew what I needed right away and was in and out in good time. The cashier asked if my item was OK and I appreciated that. I also appreciated that he didn't try to push any promotions on me as the item I had was a part of one. The parking lot is a decent size and there are trash cans everywhere for those motorists who needs to do their fixit stuff right then and there. I think that's pretty awesome. Isn't that awesome? line gets pretty long sometimes if you're waiting for someone to assist you or to checkout. however, other than that, service was good (with Oscar at least). I went for a free battery testing and Oscar came out to my car with the reader and discovered that i had a bad battery. since i'm a girl that knows nothing about cars, I asked him if he could check what kind of battery I needed and a bunch of other questions like what do i do after i buy the battery, do i have to install it myself, where would i go to have someone help me replace the battery, etc. he was more than happy to help me - helped me pick out the right battery for my car and replaced the battery for me complimentary. Only downturn was that I had to wait until the line died down a bit so he can come out to my car. Other than that, pretty solid AutoZone. Also, it was pretty busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon and the parking lot isn't huge so you might have to stalk someone until they leave their spot. read more

I decided last minute to drop by this Autozone location on my way home, and I am so glad and thankful that I did. Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive, from the minute I called the store, to the front desk clerk, to the manager Aidan who was on duty. I have to call special attention to Aidan as he went above-and-beyond to grab his tools and help me install my car battery and windshield wipers. Would give this place 5 but due to the fact that, some worker tried to rip my friend and I off I will be giving it 4 stars, because although he did rip us off another worker came out and helped us and told us that we could of gotten the ones that came in pair that were way cheaper than buy the ones sold individually that the previous worker had sold us, so the nice worker went back inside and go the cheaper ones, that were the same kind, same brand just cheaper and used those instead and told us to go back inside and exchange them. So we did and the lady working cashier told us that we were charge for different kind of individual bulbs that were more expensive than the ones that we had actually gotten.
