It started with a phone call to AutoZone where I was cordially told that AZ does free battery testing upon my inquiry if they had my battery in stock. I arrived at the store and was greeted by the person who was so kind on the phone, Joe, who asked me if I had called earlier? My truck is not a popular one so it wasn't hard to figure out. He tested my battery and alternator - then did the battery replacement in no time and I was on my way. Unfortunately there was a false negative for my alternator so I had to return where I was referred to a local mechanic who also worked quickly to replace my alternator. Iv frequented this auto zone multiple times and I don't think I have ever had a good experience here. Recently had a promotional deal in store, when I got to the register they said they no longer are doing It and the signs they still had up are old. Would not honor the deal and still tried to make me pay full price. Not personable workers. Disappointed to say the least. read more

I went to replace my car battery that was within warrenty. I was there for over an hour. The first person couldn't find the battery, the next person told me I couldn't upgrade the battery, the person who removed and replaced the car battery didn't seem to know what he was doing so I had to ask another staff person for help. I worked with 4 different staff people who were rude and didn't seem to know what they were doing. This should have been a simple transaction but became very frustrating. read more

I needed a lug nut for my car so I called first to see if they had it in stock so I wouldn't waste a trip. The guy told me they had it in stock. When I got to the store they told me they didn't have it...UGGGGH !!! Since I was already at the store I ordered one there, they guy told me they would have it in in 2 days, when I called 2 days later another person told me, "Didn't he tell you that it would take 3 to 5 days?" It seems you just can't rely on these people to give you accurate information and I really hate when some jerk tells you they have something in stock without making sure and then you waste your time going there for nothing. If I could give this a zero I would. I came to the store to pick up a few items. I was looking for a specific item and asked for help but the service was TERRIBLE. Absolutely terrible. I would not recommend going there. They would not help me. I asked a male for help he ignored me. Then I asked a female and she really wasn't in the mood for anything. Why work there if you aren't going to help the customers. It frustrates me how they don't help the customers. They gave a lot attitude. Even more people were coming in complaining that they received wrong items from them. If you are going to work there you should do it right that is why you are getting paid for. I was really impressed how much one of there employees went out of there way to educate us on different products and advising us very strongly on what is the best. Very nice young man, I wish I got his name but he was Asian and wore glasses. Anytime I come to this particular store the employees are very helpful. The wait on line can be really annoying because it's not just a checkout line it's a inquiry customer service line and everyone always has questions. This is another "know what you're doing before you go in" places. I don't do much work on my car because I have a fear of it crashing into flames after I've done something. I pretty much do oil changes and radiator flushes and leave the rest to someone that does it for a living. I needed a wiper blade and went in to find they didn't have my size for the back window, but was ok for the front set. I went to get rung up and nobody there. Someone emerges, looks at me blankly and answers the phone, then goes back to the back. Not quite sure what was going, perhaps I should have just left. Some manager type walks in from outside with stuff in his hands and mumbles some foul language then apologizes to me for waiting as long as I did. In all the place needs better service. read more

This location is awful with customer service. I went to purchase a battery yesterday. They had approximately 5 or 6 (maybe more) employees scattered about the store. The "1" checkout line was about 6 people deep and only 1 employee was manning the register. All the other employees were either talking to each other or moving around the store (pretending to do something). Not one person attempted to open a register to alleviate the backup. read more

This might be the worst auto store in creation. I went in there to enquire about getting my car battery charged. One of the many employees there who were standing around cursing at each other hands me a wrench and says "go get your battery". I asked for some assistance as I have never removed a car battery before. The guy turns, looks at me, and loudly screams "NO". I was having an issue with my VW 2012 Jetta and the fuse box and I could not figure out what was wrong; the manager and his staff spent their undivided attention trying to help me and I was so thankful. I don;t remember the manager/supervisor's name but he was tall caucasian and possibly named Mark but I don;t remember! Anyway he went above and beyond to help me even calling a friend he knew at a local Volkswagen to help me trouble shoot. I came in here to get a new set of back brakes, although the guy thought my s2000 (convertible) was a truck, haha, i can't expect him to know every model out there, any who, he helped me get my brakes and let me know that there is a lifetime warranty on the brakes so that i would just need to bring them back and i would get a new set for FREEE!! sounds good to me! read more

Unless you know exactly what you want its okay to go there but if need to ask questions go to a real auto parts store. Autozone employees are just counter people who have no knowledge of auto parts or their functions. The best Autozone can do is look up a part number for a make/model but you better know the exact name of what you want because they have no clue what anything is called or their function. They should call this place "ghettozone" because the employees have attitudes and act as if they are on a street hanging out with friends. Real auto part store employees are very knowledgeable with vehicles (some are/were mechanics or have a history with vehicles) and can answer your questions or concerns regarding vehicles, parts and their functions. read more

Worst establishment ever. I knew this place had poor service but recently they sold me a used timing belt. I did not open the box while checking out to double check. When I got home and got ready to change it I realized the belt was used. When I went back and told them they sold me a used belt the cashier said "we don't sell used parts." My response was "you did this morning." They gave me a new belt but did so with an attitude. I also got a water pump there and it was missing the gasket for it. Most of the people in there don't know anything about cars, you cant even ask simple questions with out making their heads pop. I have stopped going there all together.
