My husband went to autozone on 9th Ave 7/30/24 at 9:15. He was the only customer and he wanted to buy oil. There were 2 employees working. He went to TJ's register . TJ said go talk to the other cashier. He walked to the other cashier and he told him to talk to TJ. The other cashier sent me back to TJ. TJ proceeded to tell me to go to Advance Auto!!!! It is unbelievable that in 2024 prejudice people are allowed to continue to work in nationally franchised companies!! Next step is to notify corporate. My suggestion is don't patronize Autozone on 9th Ave! Advance Auto has a customer forever!! read more

Went to have battery test and installed. Tested and faulty. They could not install since it requires computer reset that they can't do. Upon investigating, the battery was under warranty. Bought battery and was told to return old battery for full refund. Went to a mechanic to install battery and reset computer. No issues. Went back to auto zone to return core and obtain refund. Entered store placed battery on counter. Man (Chip) said what do you want me to do with that in an angered voice. Immediately put me on defense. I mentioned returning for core and refund under warranty provisions. He replied- oh no that's not how it works. I must test battery and charge it to determine the status. I explained it had been tested and was told the warranty would provide refund. He said if it tested ok I would have 2 batteries and no refund. After an argument he gave in and proceeded to give refund reluctantly. I WILL NEVER RETURN WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AS BAD AS THIS. read more

Overall great auto parts store. As soon as I walked in, everyone asked if I needed help. I didn't necessarily, but they were so friendly and approachable, I took them up on it. I bought a few air filters, and they took the time to pull them out of the package and verify the size was correct. One was not, and didn't happen to be in stock, so they ordered it and arrived the following morning. They also price match (excluding online only deals) and have military discount. I've been in Pensacola for about 6 months now and would consider myself someone who can complete moderate repairs on the two vehicles in my household. A large reason I have been so successful in the last 6 months is because of the helpful people who work here. AutoZones across the US are pretty standard in their warranties, product selection and prices so this review won't touch on those aspects. However, for those that don't know, many of their products have a lifetime warranty on them, all warranties are connected to your phone number which makes it REALLY convenient because you don't have to keep receipts in order to replaces a product whenever it needs to be replaced. I will always buy my products from an AutoZone because of this reason. Now, during my time here I've fixed an A/C system, replaced brakes and calipers, changed the oil, and all sorts of other small things. Each time I've run into a bump in the road during the repairs I've gone to the employees who worked here and asked for their advice. They never hesitate to listen all the symptoms my vehicle is displaying and give me their advice. They've even gone way out of their way a couple times to come out to the vehicle and look, listen, and even stick their hands under the hood to help me out. Don't hesitate to head here if you need parts or just advice in general, the employees are extremely knowledgeable, and just as important, friendly. read more

My husband went to Auto Zone Store # 2438 at 6790 Ninth Avenue in Pensacola, FL. on Friday, 04-02-21 at approximately 11:00 am. Both the employee AND the the Store Manager (Bryan Satterly) showed extreme prejudice that day. My husband went into this store that he always goes to, to get some parts, two rubber belts which he brought with him to get the right fit, (because sometimes they give the wrong parts and you have to make another trip back). The first employee he spoke with was very rude. He asked if he could help him and my husband said "yes, I need two belts" and the employee said "Ok what kind of vehicle?" My husband said "Chrysler Concorde 2004". The employee asked with an ugly tone, "VAN?" My husband repeated "Chrysler Concorde..". The employee snapped back and said "I don't understand!" (Ugly). My husband said "You don't understand what I'm saying? You don't understand Chrysler Concorde??? Ok then let me talk to your manager!" My husband has been coming in that store for 20 years and no one ever had a problem understanding him before! (My husband does have an accent but he is very easily understood by everyone he interacts with). The store manager, Bryan Satterly, came out and was just as rude. He told my husband it was between the mask and his accent. My husband felt like they were basically refusing to serve him. My husband felt severe discrimination from both of them because of his accent, which obviously shows he's originally from another country. He was surprised and taken back by this blatant discrimination being displayed towards him in a store that he has spent so much money in through the years. He told them he was going to report both of them (there were no other customers and no other employees around so he grabbed his rubber belts and left the store.) He went next door to a competitor (Advance Auto parts) to get the parts he needed. He told the story to this employee at Advance who said he totally understood him... perfectly...and said he had no idea why anyone couldn't understand him. How horrible, in this time that we're in now, that a store would employ people who would be rude and discriminate against someone patronizing their store! What happened to customer service? And most importantly, where is the human decency??!!!! Auto Zone should take a look at their employees!! Discrimination is illegal! read more

First of all let me start by saying the staff is extremely courteous to their customers. Second of all I would like to thank the staff members of AutoZone for being there in my hour of need LOL. The story goes like this: I was 600 feet from AutoZone when my car battery died. The store was closing in 45 minutes and I had never been in a situation like I was. I called AutoZone and asked if I could walk in but my battery and walk back out with it since I was so close but not in their parking lot. While I was on the phone with AutoZone I asked them how much the battery weighed and if I would be able to do it myself, they stated the battery is extremely heavy upwards of 50 pounds and the installation process can be quite extensive. That's when they offered to walk with me back to my car from AutoZone an install my battery for me. The gentleman told me that since they were not very busy that wouldn't be a problem. I was so shocked at the amount of customer service that was being offered to me, somebody who didn't know anything about a vehicle (and still doesn't) that I offered the gentleman a tip although they can't take them. LOL. I will be calling their corporate number and explaining what a great business they have on Bayou Boulevard in Pensacola Florida. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to a day. read more

Have been here and one or two other places over the past year. THIS place has earned my loyalty. Took my 11-year-old car in for the FREE "check engine light computer analysis" that dealers and repair shops charge $60-75 for. From there, Josh was VERY patient in talking me through the explanations of the results, possible causes, diagnostic steps I could take, and fixes. Even came out and showed me under the hood what I would be getting involved in. Never indicated that I should or shouldn't try to do any of the work myself, unless I asked. Everything made sense, and I never felt pressured to buy anything - they just let me know what options they had available and then left it up to me to decide how I wanted to proceed.
