After coming back to the shop 3 hours later to pick it up, my car was not at the shop. Turns out they took the car to another shop in town who had the correct machines to get the job done. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop. Fast forward to now, my AC went out again several weeks ago and I'll need to take it in once more to inspect what is happening. While this service was cheaper then competitors I feel it may have been worth it in the long run to take it somewhere else because I'll end up paying more to get it done again anyway at this point.

It won't start my car, I had a mechanic say the battery is bad and yet Oreilly's says they won't honor the warranty. They hooked it up to their machine and said, "eh it's got 11.9v and the machine says it's fine." Okay, NEWS FLASH: under 12v is dead, and you need 12.6 to start a car!!!! So clearly not only do they not know basic engine mechanics, they're useless. When I said this was ridiculous, they all literally laughed at me and said, "sucks to be you dude, talk to my manager, not me." Their manager then threatened to hold my battery hostage for TWO DAYS and laughed at me when I said all I want to do is trade in my dead battery for a new one UNDER WARRANTY (which I had the receipt for). Absolutely awful customer experience. They spent an hour charging my battery, said it was fine, and once I got home, guess what? THE BATTERY IS STILL DEAD!!!! So not only do they not know basic mechanics, they failed to honor a warranty I paid for AND LIED about my battery!!! My car started fine with my wife's battery, but with this FAULTY ONE UNDER WARRANTY, no start. What an absolute joke. I'm never shopping here again and I'll make sure no one I know does either. I filed a formal complaint with their corporate office and apparently their district manager will be following up, but avoid this place like the plague. Clearly someone in QA at Tusk was asleep at the wheel.... POD shows they have been back for a week. (9/22) Nobody answers the phones there. Nor do they call back when requested. They just communicate via the Amazon Portal. Their responses are somewhat timely, but irrelevant. They keep circling on already agreed to plans of action. And then do nothing - as per the other reviews have stated. This has been going on for over a week. The latest was they would ship the Silver pannier but for $30 more (outside Amazon's purview). - the product is the same price everywhere regardless of color. Followed by: "We need your PayPal account number to issue a refund". Clearly outside of Amazon's sellers policy and clearly a "text book scam"... My hope is that Amazon can police their sellers on this sort of thing. If not, I have a business trip to Lehi in two weeks. Where I will gladly schedule a meeting with the District Attorney to look into this.
