A typical…read moretransaction works like this: -- Customer walks in, tells manager at counter what he's looking for. -- Manager checks computer inventory for cars matching customers request. -- Manager calls yard employee who comes and retrieves customer. -- Employee and Customer ride in yard-car to the appropriate section of yard and employee pulls off part after customers approval. -- Employee and Customer return to office where manager prices the part for the customer and transaction is completed. Customers are generally not allowed to pull parts themselves. Speaking Spanish is helpful here, but not necessary. Their minimum charge is $35, so make sure you need more than just a radio knob when you go. Sandals are not allowed in their yard so wear shoes when you go. Their yard employees are extremely patient and courteous. They'll spend as much time as you need to get the right parts. A tip might be nice for the yard employees, though it's not asked for or expected. Their hours of operation could be better. 8am-5pm M-F. Closed Saturday. I'd like to shop here on Saturday when I'm working on project cars. Or very early in the morning. I'd also like it if they allowed customers to pull parts themselves.

But they did sell one to me; they pointed out that it was Duralast and I had a 3 year warranty on it. It had a built code of 12/20 on it side. I bought it at Autozone 1 month after I moved to Springville in 3/21. They told me if I went to Autozone they would replace it. Two young men at Autozone admitted that it was still under warranty, but they did not find it in the system and were CLEARLY afraid of swapping it out with a new one. They said we had to wait for 10 minutes for their Manager Valentine H. He arrived and I could see why the 2 young men we so afraid. He treated me as if it was my fault the purchase was not in the system and that somehow I was trying to do something nefarious with my 18 month old battery that clearly had a 3 year warranty. In an accusatory voice Valentine said I had come by 3 months ago talking about the battery as if that was evidence of a scam. I have 5 cars, 2 of which are old Land Cruisers and have bought 2 new cars that needed batteries lately. I have no idea if I did talk with him about it, I don't remember doing so, but have no idea how that is a bad thing? I told him was first confused and did not know what I had done wrong and why he was treating me as if i was a conman. I was confused, but now I am angry. I need a battery for another car, I will be going to another shop to buy it.

They made sure to answer all my questions, allowed me to test drive the exact bike I was considering buying (not a demo), and were really competitively priced compared to other places I was considering shopping. In fact, it came down to this bike, or another at a dealer in Draper, and that dealer wouldn't even return my calls, even though I was ready to make a purchase and had money in-hand. The people at White Knuckle were the total opposite. Great experience all around. While they were doing a final mechanical check of my bike before handing it over to me, they let me take out other vehicles, such as their Teryxs, just so I could play around a little and keep from getting bored! ;-) It was an all-around good experience. Would definitely shop here again.
