I pride myself on being well-versed in brands, and was pleasantly surprised to discover many brands that never even crossed my radar. Good to know: Hearth and Soul carries Bond perfume for men and women. This is usually only available at department stores. Being able to indulge in a favorite fragrance while supporting a local business is a bonus. In addition to the retail experience, the location features various events to engage with the community and build awareness of local partners. Past events have included book signings, cooking classes, and sip and shops. Each month, Hearth and Soul teams up with a non-profit partner. Fliers of upcoming events are located in-store to ensure visitors are in the know. Post-pandemic, experiential retail is the latest trend. On that front, Hearth & Soul delivers, offering a welcome alternative to online scrolling and the ubiquitous mall.

Parking is limited. Staff is very friendly and approachable and knowledgeable of everything in the store. Very picturesque inside. This store have different areas you can browse. They have women and men clothing. They cater more to smaller sizes but I would still browse. I was told they keep different sizes in the back . Jewelry was very eclectic and pretty. Different styles so that is always a plus. Candles, books, artwork etc. it will definitely keep you entertained as you browse. They were having a Mexican event that consisted of flavored salsas and chips and Queso. The game changer was a jalapeño spice margarita. It was so good. They have different events from book signings to Pilates classes, jewelry classes etc. These events are monthly. Check they website and get the full list each month. Although Cohesion has only been open since September 2018, it is a compelling addition to this shopping strip. Immediately upon entering the store, I was struck by how good everything smelled, as well as the chic yet relaxed style of decor. Heather, the owner, mentioned that the candles are available in store, and shared her plans to branch out into more home accents and decorating items, in addition to the women's clothing and accessories currently offered. As far as the clothing selections, the items are unique and run the gamut from more dress-up dresses to everyday wear and athleisure, with a smattering of-the-moment sweaters and scarves in the mix. On my visit there were a number of cute jackets, including a white parka with an adjustable drawcord collar, and a crushed-raspberry colored velvet blazer. I ended up with a not-so-basic LBD with a lace panel and exposed back zip, and a tie-front striped button down shirt that can be transitioned with the seasons. Inventory changes on a weekly basis, and there are only a few selections of each style available in every size--all the more reason to snap up that favorite piece right when you are eyeing it, because it might not be there the next time.

The layout is not as accessible as there are thicker rugs on the floor which can make it hard for manual wheel chairs or seeing impaired persons who may use a sight cane.

The owner, Nicole, and her staff were very helpful finding the perfect friendship quote to give my dear friend. I also found an adorable little dress and boot socks (we used to call them leg warmers ).
