My daughter's bike tire deflated unexpectedly after her bike had gotten a tune up from 40K cycles a month ago. When my husband brought the tube in, they replaced the tube without question for free. They went above and beyond! They have great customer service, they have always been extremely accommodating and friendly. We have never had a bad experience at this store! I can not say enough about the great service provided by SBR Ofallon. I have a bike brand which is not sold at this store and they went way above and beyond to service the bike for me and even worked with the brake manufacturer to get me replacement parts which the manufacturer was having issues with. At this local shop, you will encounter friendly, supportive lovers of triathlon and the three sports that comprise it. I am only a casual/fitness-level member of the cycling community. Some shops dismiss anyone who is not a serious athlete. Not SBR. This store extends a comfortable welcome, and is friendly to all ages and abilities and income levels. Over time, their inventory has increased and they always select high quality brands and goods to carry, whether attire, accessories, or equipment. I've had repairs done here and was pleased with the mechanic's abilities. I've also purchased parts and received advice from the employees/owner. There is a shop in the area (I'm thinking of a very large one) that is owned by a business person rather than an enthusiast and part of the cycling community. That store is all about the money to be made. SBR is about the love of the activity, and building a community of happy, healthy riders. read more

any thanks to Mike and especially Charles for getting my bike fixed on very short notice today so I can race out of town on Saturday. My bike slipped off my bike rack while driving and although I stopped right away, it had wedged between the car and the rack - shifting the handle bars out of place and toasted my wheel. Charles readjusted the handle bars and LUCKILY had a wheel that I could borrow for the weekend, saving my race. Thank you SO much!! read more

I'm a recreational biker that started riding on a regular basis in the last 3 years. I tried a couple of bike shops and found the experience and advice from Swim/Bike/Run (SBR) superior to other shops. The owner and employees really care about their customers and have tremendous background in bikes. As a result I've bought 2 bikes from them with the most recent being a Specialized Roubaix. They did not recommend an expensive model but rather looked at my biking goals and expectations and recommended a middle tier bike. They did recommend higher end shoes (Specialized S-Works S7) and specific pedals (speedplay), and the overall experience riding this new bike is incredible. It is smooth, fast and handles like a sports car. My advice for anyone considering a bike or accessories is to talk to SBR, get their advice and follow it. They value the long term relationships over the quick sale. You will not find anyone more knowledgeable or trustworthy. read more

Unhappy with this establishment as well as the owner. My husband purchased a $250 bike assessment for me. The employee doing the assessment accidentally erased the results 30 minutes into the assessment, assuring me she could re-enter the information. She followed up by email a few days later with three bike offerings that would be a good fit based on the assessment. She offered three bike choices. I picked the mid-range road bike and ordered the next day. I was told the bike would be delivered to the shop 3-4 days later. I called on the fifth day, after hearing nothing, only to discover they were wrong and the bike would not be delivered for another 30-45 days later. The owner did apologize for the oversize on his part because he mis-read the coding on the bike web site. He also informed me the higher priced bike, that I was now considering, and part of my original assessment was mis-priced based on 2015 pricing and was actually $400+ more. Disgusted, I asked for my money back (I pre-paid for the original bike that was supposed to be in 3-4 days). They originally reimbursed me the wrong amount (too little) which they made good after I questioned them. I had purchased some biker shorts on sale. Additionally, on a previous transaction he was kind enough to give me a $50 credit on a bike tire I purchased a week before which he applied to my bike purchase. When I cancelled my bike order, he gave me the tire back. What will I do with a new tire when I don't have the bike? I also requested my $250 assessment results in writing which they agreed to give me but I have yet to receive. I have no doubt the assessment doesn't even exist, as it was accidentally erased. I beg to believe this business will not be in business in less than eighteen months with these type of errors. Take my advice and go to Big Shark in Chesterfield. read more
