They were almost nonfunctional, and it appeared that they hadn't been cleaned in years. As I left I was approached by a homeless guy wanting to use the bathroom. I sent him away. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the electricity worked. But, I immediately disconnected and left. When I asked for a refund, I was told "he "doesn't give refunds. Whoever "he" is. I didn't go very deep in to the park, the space I was assigned is pretty near the entrance. But it was not a place that I was willing to stay with my family.

It's a no frills place, but very well maintained - they keep most of the spots' hookups heated so that everything works well unless temperatures are in the 20s or lower for 2 days, which made our December/January weather much more comfortable. The common facilities are clean and tidy, and the campgrounds well maintained. They even had a small lot where we could store our trailer at no extra charge! Best of all though, the manager is exceedingly kind and genuinely concerned about the well being of her guests. This will be our go to choice in the area!

I couldn't find the cottages or guest service office Because it was dark, but there were two security guards that were beyond helpful. He had us follow them to the correct location and checked us in without any hassle. He made sure we parked our uhaul close to our cottage and knew we were exhausted and told us to get some rest. The level of compassion he displayed really sets the bar for services. I wish I had gotten his name. The cottage itself is VERY clean, super cute!! Wish we were staying longer!!

In the five years that I have lived there we have had four different managers. Each one creates new hostility. None of them are really managers. Managers don't act that way. I run an e-commerce company and I've been a manager most of my life. When taking on a new position you investigate matters you ask questions you ask people why they are doing what they are doing. And then it's something seems to be out of character maybe not what you think it should be then you can investigate that and you can figure out why it's called managing. And at the end of which if you then find a problem or inconsistency you can address it at that time. You do so respectfully. Now, with those points in mind none of the managers that I have seen during the time that I've lived at the La Casita mobile home community exhibit those qualities. I obviously have several employees. I have a nurse who is with me about half the week. She spends a lot of time at the house. She does not live there. As such she is not a decision maker. Who does the new manager approach? The employee! And then when that manager is in fact corrected and made aware of the fact that they have made an error, but they only compound the problem and do nothing to correct it.
