They have up to date carts or you can walk. Its open to the public and also have memberships. There is a chipping and separate putting greens but the "driving range" is hitting into a net from a short distance. Club house is small, with a soda fountain and a table where hotdogs are sold.

It's been 10 years since I wrote the first review for this golf course…read more And it's been 10 years since I last played it and today was special because we were able to host the Strokes Fore Hop fundraiser for William 'Bam' Montgomery who is in need of a kidney. There were 72 golfers who joined on a beautiful sunny, 72 degree Friday on 11/12/21. Over $12K was raised to help with the medical bills and expenses for Bam. The course has matured and improved over the years. It is a challenging course with a fair amount of water and some greens protected by bunkers. There are some really nice Par 3's, hole number 6 which is right at about 115 yards from the Senior tees. I nearly won the 'closest to the pin' with a shot that put it right at about 10 feet to the pin. A pair of Panthers VS WFT tickets were the prize but, I was just edged out by a shot from Mr Shelly at 85 years old put it within 7 feet. The course is well maintained in great condition, the tee boxes are in great shape as are the greens. The fairways are wide open and most of greens are large and well maintained. They have a great bar & restaurant as well as a very nice out door patio. I highly recommend this course.

The waitress never once cleared the dirty plates from our table and we had to ask repeatedly for refills. My 7 year old was charged an adult price ($17) and she didn't eat much because everything ran out. However, due to the size of our party, gratuity was included. Overall, not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning.

There was no hostess in sight. They ran out of food on the buffet. The food that was brought out was tasteless. The mac and cheese was horrendous. It was just noodles overcooked on a pan in the oven with a dash of cheese on top. No butter, on cream, no nothing. They advertised an "extensive" salad bar. It was a table with one bowl of lettuce, a half empty bowl of cheese, some stale broccli and several different types of dressing spilt and mixed together. The management didn't seem to even care; they didn't apologize for their failures, offer any refunds or any satisfaction at all. It was our first time and last. It was a terrible experience for Mother's Day. My mom never even got a full plate of food in the hour we were there waiting around for something to come out from the kitchen. Mulligans and the entire Deer Brook operation should be embarrassed and ashamed of the way they are running a business and treating wonderful mothers in our community on their special day.

Seems to be a well run partnership at first glance. Suggestion: prior to visiting, head to the website, watch the orientation video, and complete the online waiver. They'll have it waiting for you to sign at the office. The office is your first stop, where you'll sign the waiver (after watching the video, if you didn't already watch it online) and pay your fees. A single fee gives you all day access via wristband, and just a couple dollars more pays for the target stands you'll be using. One free target comes with the fees. Staplers and staples are provided free at each range. Office staff can answer your initial questions and get you in-processed quickly, then let the range officers know you're coming their way. Suggestion 2: weapons brought into the complex must be cased and unloaded. Do this before you arrive, and everything will go smoothly. Range officers are helpful, friendly, and not drill sergeants. Listen to them, follow their instructions, and enjoy the day. They've all got different personalities, of course; the Range 2 guys were pretty lackadaisical, while I appreciated the efficiency of the Range 3 crew. The facilities I saw were all clean and well equipped. Nothing fancy, mind you, but still far nicer than most of the public ranges I've seen. It's a shame there aren't more facilities of this caliber dispersed around the state. I certainly wish there were one closer to where I live. But going here was worth the drive. And for those of us who are veterans, there are discounts for visiting on weekdays. Maybe I can take advantage of that some time soon.
