There's also an option to set bowlers up with or without bumpers which is great if you're a family and the little ones need bumpers, but you'd rather not have them up for yourself. There is also food available and a full bar with servers who attend the lanes. The restrooms have always been clean during my visits. I haven't played in the arcade or done the laser tag yet. Cons: For some strange reason, the ball weights are only even numbers with the exception of 15 lbs. I don't understand this. The food is mostly bar style with no healthy options. The majority of meat is fried. There are a few salads, but outside of that, there's not much to work with if you're not looking to consume a ton of calories. Regular prices can be high. They don't make reservations but I was told they'd prepare a lane for us if we'd call and let them know we were on the way. We did and they did. We had to rent the shoes at $4 per pair. There are only 6 lanes so this is NOT a mega structure. There are computerized scoring devices, so that makes it very nice for those of us who have NO idea how to score. The venue has beer, wine, and cocktails as well as a menu of "snack" type foods: nachos, sandwiches, and more. We had already decided to dine elsewhere. B. U. T. we had such a great time tossing WAY too many gutter balls and managing an occasional spare and ONE STRIKE BY ONE PLAYER, we bought another voucher and will be playing and eating on our next visit. The birthday party proceeded perfectly well. All Big E staff did their jobs with care and perfection! They were all attentive to the needs of the host and seemed to really want to make this a memorable event for the birthday boy and his friends. There's eight movie screens, a full sized bowling alley, climbing and jumping activities to help keep the kids energy levels manageable. In better weather outside there's also a rather large and impressive miniature golf area. I can't believe that I've missed out on this fun place to take children to.
