Today, even though the store's sign and website say they open at 9:00am, there was no one there to be found at 9:45. In times past, I've been in and been patently ignored by employees. Recently, I needed something on short notice and stopped in. I asked someone for assistance. He was stocking items and would not stop working on his little project. That person then made a call, spoke to someone who also decided other things were more important than a customer. Shop somewhere else. Don't bother with this remarkably bad store.

So I was thrown out of the store today by what I imagine to be the store manager, a very RUDE woman…read morewho accused me of throwing clothes at an employee the day before. Which was totally untrue!! She did not identify herself but, let me tell you a story.... It all started yesterday Tuesday July 14, 2026. I went into the store looking for tops to workout in. Found three tops and proceeded to the front cash registers. There were 4 people in line before me. One elderly lady running the cash register, there was some sort of hold up .. I imagine it had to do with pricing of an item. The line started getting longer behind me. I looked around for another employee to ask if they could open another register. When I notice another elderly staff lady heading towards the front. As she's walking by me I ask her if she could open another register. She ignored me...walked right past me like I wasn't there!....so that wasn't pleasant...but I continued to stand in line . The customers that were at the first register were waiting for a manager I think. Not sure but .... The first staff member left that register and opened a new one, took the guy in front of me, but.... couldn't finish the sale because he only had a Card and for some reason the staff member could not get the cash register to go online. So we wait.... the other lady comes over all exhaberated and tells the guy he'll have to wait ... they have no idea how long it will take. This is when I decide I have to leave since I needed to pick up my husband from Phyisical therapy in town. Now this was not a happy workplace, you could feel the disdain the staff members had, not one smile not one apology that it was taking so long...nothing, so I turned around and put the three shirts ontop of a shelf that was in the isle leading into the registers. I could hear the elderly staff member mumble something behind me as I was leaving. but I didn't turn around. So, today I went back to the store hoping to get those shirts and to speak with another manager if there was one about the previous day. Another senior citizen, but a man this time, was running the register. I greeted him with a smile and asked him if he was a manager, he replied no.... I am a consultant, this place is awful we do not have enough help... he was about to tell me more when this RUDE woman walks up to me and accuses me of throwing clothing at her staff yesterday!. She then proceeded to take the shirts away from me and said she wasn't going to allow the sale of these items to me and told me to leave the store and never come back!!! WOW Just WOW Yes I will never go back but not because she told me not to, Obviously, based on all the bad reviews .. this store is run by poor management, my hard earned money will be spent at other more deserving establishments.

What a shame this mall is Dying. So many stores closed…read more Looks like at one time it was a good mall to shop. Now it looks like people go to walk around and exercise. I was excited to find out they had a post office here with a self serve machine. They don't have them at any post office near where we live. So we stopped by to see. Now I know where it is. The door is open on the outside not inside access on Sundays. We went and walked around a couple of stores fast there was hardly any customers. At least I know some place to go if I need to mail any packages while in that area. Post office was a big place for being inside a mall. Other than that no stores I'd go back for.

It ended up being really good and tasted like it had a mix of different herbs. The egg in the middle was a boiled egg so i found that interesting. My friends and I recently traveled to Rosman to float down the French Broad River. We have floated…read morewith Headwaters Outfitters in the past and knew we were going to have a great experience. The staff is welcoming as soon as you enter the store. They helped us pick the right dry packs for our phones and we were able to purchase other gifts as well. The safety instructions and map were very helpful and the float took us a little more than 90 minutes. A warm welcome greeted us as we reached the end of our float. We loaded the bus and headed back to the starting point. I love this float because we were the only ones on the river. There was no packing of people onto the bus and unloading with a slew of others with their tubes. We had the river to ourselves and we loved it. Along the way, we were welcomed by a gentleman sitting on a porch singing a song about people floating on the river. It was memorable. As was the trip. Great time, Headwaters! We will see you again!
