I arrived about 40 min before my tee time & Scott was able to assist with loading my bag on the cart. Todd checked me in & said that it had rained steady early but they were in a 'window' where he believed I could get in 18 holes & not be soaked. There were a number of cancellations so I had no one in front or behind me except for a single who played through. A light misty rain on the front but by the turn it was lighter. So easy to access the club house. restaurant and bathroom to make a quick turn. That roast beef sammy grab n go at the Garden hit the spot. Overall conditions were fine just a few holes where the greens were spotty looking & the tee boxes were a little over used but for he most part, it was good. Evidently they had not had any rain for weeks until the Memorial Day monsoon when I played. I carded a 78 from the forward tees, one stroke better than my personal best. I was able to walk around the greens like a pro on tour and make some putts. On #18, Par 5, I just missed an Eagle by a foot! Not too shabby for a Super Senior. Sadly had to cancel my Saturday round at Apple Valley Course, just two miles up the road, standing water in the fairways and tee boxes.

The GM should have them take customer service training on how to answer a simple question. I responded after I was told the cost was $40 that I was senior citizen, "Friday day rate $40!" I decided that I didn't want to purchase my customery souvenir from the proshop. I understand that he has had to respond to similar questions many times, but I was only asking not demanding. Luckily, I don't judge the establishment and rest of the staff as most people do when confronted with poor CS, is why I gave Willow Creek 3 stars. 5 stars for the course super and concessions. Zero for the single person in the proshop. The owner should invest in Customer Training classes for his staff.

Can play a little short from white tees but there are blue and championship tees way back if you are better player. Great rates late in afternoon. My kid and I can play 9 holes with a cart for $32 after 4pm. Old complaint was that people weren't repairing divots on greens. No more. Either these new greens are more durable or players are finally repairing.

There are a couple of water holes, one a long par 3 over a lake that looks well shorter than it plays. Nice changes in elevation on the par 5's. Par is 36 for this nine hole course. They have up to date carts or you can walk. Its open to the public and also have memberships. There is a chipping and separate putting greens but the "driving range" is hitting into a net from a short distance. Club house is small, with a soda fountain and a table where hotdogs are sold.

They also offer golf lessons and golf clinics. Colby is an incredible instructor and is so knowledgeable about the game of golf. They also offer memberships which is brilliant for families. Unlimited range balls... jackpot!! They also are available for events - what a perfect place for a birthday party! They offer party packages and have some awesome add on services (sno cone machine, cotton candy, bounce house and more). This is a great place to spend an afternoon with the fam.
