Sorry Disneyland, this is my new happy place! I think folks oftentimes forget that small business's are usually curated from someone's hopes & dreams, which is great and all. However, Ava Beauty Lounge is truly a passion meets purpose WITH Purpose, oasis of more than just aesthetics. I will get into that in just a bit. Stay with me now, y'all know I'm a tad wordy..... So the lounge itself is always immaculate. As you can see in one of my photos, the waiting area is on point. Now what you don't see are the variety of snacks they provide and obvi always something to quench ya thirst. Music is always in rotation and to be honest, the selections are always great, even if it's country music. Yup, I said it, country music. If you arrived even a lil upset at your significant other, you will leave renewed, revived & letting Jesus take da wheel. Now, I am a lash gal and I usually get my fills at 2 week intervals, however, when I have to swing a 3 week, no need to fear for my retention stay REAL. This is obtained by using quality products and of course, following lash guidelines. At Ava Beauty lounge you can get waxed, micro bladed, exfoliated, rejuvenated and not to mention "Educated". That's right y'all, it's time to finish my statement from above. WITH purpose........ The owner of Ava Beauty Lounge believes in women uplifting other women. I think this is important to note. I have seen some of the gals that have taken her classes, take what they've learned & move on to start their own businesses. Ya gotta appreciate these things. So without a doubt, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment. All the usual things apply when scheduling, deposits, cancellation fee's, no show fees........... Please be mindful of this. The shop is always clean and welcoming and she always makes sure you're comfortable! Her work is amazing and I leave feeling so beautiful. I do not recommend Nita at Ava Beauty Lounge for teeth whitening . She takes your money by asking for a deposit and doesn't apply it to the service amount. Even though I have it in a text from her - stating the deposit is minus from the total. She goes back on her word and just says sorry. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Even on her site she states it's minus from total. Talk about a hustler. I'm all about supporting small businesses but this is unbelievable. Also beware if you book a appointment and reschedule 5 days prior she's gonna keep your deposit! What business does that. Yes keep the deposit if canceling less than 24 hours (which this is stated on her site) but 5 days before. Shady. read more

My experience at Ava Beauty was wonderful! The location was easy to find and parking is conveniently right in front of the premises. The establishment was very clean and organized. Lissette was very professional and did exceptional work on my eyelashes extensions! She was very thorough and checked in with me for the duration of the appointment (considering it was my first time getting my eyelash extensions done). Lissette was very warm and personable! Lissette is an amaing esthetician. I go to her for facials, lash lifts, eyebrow threading and lash extensions. She is patient and knows her products. When I started getting lash extensions, I loved them. After a few times of getting the extensions one of my eyes started to get irritated. Lissette got me in right away and removed them. She then gave my eyes time to heal and rest and then we began a patch test with a different glue. Like I said, she knows her products. I am happy to say we found the glue that will not irritate my eye and I can go back to looking more fabulous with my extensions. I definietly reccomend her to anyone looking for a great knowledgeable esthetician. read more
