So I had been wearing strip lashes for about 17 years and occasionally getting lash extensions for special occasions and I never had any issue. Somehow out of nowhere, developed an allergy to lash glue and no matter what I tried, my eyes would get red and peely and itchy and I'd lose like half my lashes every time I tried to wear lashes. I finally gave up. I had an event coming up recently that I wouldn't be able to wear mascara to (crying). Sugar Bunny was highly recommended to me for their special technique and products they use for people with my issue. I was skeptical since nothing has worked for me before, but gave it a go. Drea was so nice! She explained everything step by step and offered to put a few on for me to try to make sure I didn't have a reaction before doing a full set. Lillian applied the trial run lashes and even though it was only a few they lasted and I liked how they looked, but most importantly I didn't have any reaction! Lillian is a true artist!!! She did a semi-permanent eyeliner tattoo for me! The last time I had this procedure done was well over 20 years ago. She was meticulous and explained each step carefully to me. We reviewed what look I was trying to achieve and she gave her prospective on what would look best on me!! I am over the top with Lillian's professionalism, artistry, friendliness, and most especially how my eyeliner looks on me! I really don't have to wear make-up anymore after the touch-up procedure. My favorite lash salon! Techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have sensitive eyes particularly during the spring when my allergies kick in and Karyn has been beyond helpful and understanding through it all. She puts a little Flonase on my lids to help keep allergies at bay when I mention they've been bad, and it's helped tremendously. She also takes extra time to separate each lash every time. This is by far my favorite me-time. I started coming in in January and have never looked back. Everyone is welcoming and ready to answer any questions. I just got eyelash extensions for the first time yesterday here. I was really nervous, wanted them to look natural, just enhanced like the best mascara application I'd ever attained. When I first walked in the atmosphere was very pleasant & I felt comfortable right away. I was asked about what I was hoping for, shown pictures to help me pinpoint the look I wanted. I came across Sugar Bunny Lashes while searching for a local lash spot. I made an appointment online for a lash lift with Karyn. While driving to my appointment, I got a little confused about where the business was because there wasn't a sign anywhere. No big sign and nothing on the windows. I thought that was a bit odd unless I totally just didn't see it. But if that's the case, then they definitely need it to be seen! When I entered the building, it was freezing! We are in December, and it's cold outside, put the heater on. Even Karyn made a comment apologizing that her hands were cold. Which they were. If the business can't have the heater on due to something with the lashes, then offer a blanket or something. When Karyn got started, she told me what the process would be and that I needed to keep my eyes closed the whole time. As I closed my eyes and as she started, I kept hearing a kid, maybe two running around. Her kid or kids kept coming up to her asking about homework and asking questions. I love kids, but kids are a distraction when you're trying to work. It's just not a great idea to have kids distracting you while you're working so close to a client's eyes. She was using glue and other tools so close to my eye, and I was nervous every time her kid came up to her. One little mess up could damage my eyes. Client's need 100% of their lash technician's attention. There was also one point where her kid walked outside to the car alone, and she was pissed. It just was not professional at all. She also didn't check on me while my lashes were glued onto the eye rod. Not one "how are you doing" nor "hows it is feeling" nothing. She only asked after everything was done. Even though my lashes did turn out ok, the lack of professionalism turned me off, and I will not go back. read more

Drea will go above and beyond to fit you in, to make sure you love your lashes and to make sure you retain them by going over your regimen. 2. The lashes are AMAZING. My face literally transforms and I no longer look like a naked mole rat with no eyelashes. I don't have to put on makeup in the morning or get ready because it looks like I'm already wearing it and people comment on them ALL THE TIME. I will get stopped while out and someone will say oh my gosh you have the most beautiful eyelashes. My coworker didn't believe me when I told her I don't wear makeup. 3. You really feel like you're part of the family after coming regularly. Moving from another state, I knew no one. Now I feel so comfortable coming here, it's such a warm and welcome environment. 4. The prices- realistically the prices are hard to beat for a professional lash studio. Yeah you can go get your lashes done cheap at a nail place but your real lashes will fall off or your eyes will get irritated and then you can't get lashes altogether so why not get them done the right way and retain your natural lashes' health. She's done some crazy artistic stuff, like adding Swarovski crystals to my lashes, or putting different colored lashes for a fun, yet subtle look, without making me look like a Harajuku girl. SBL uses only the best hypoallergenic products, which is beneficial to those who have sensitive eyes. On top of that, everyone here is very kind, personable, and knowledgeable. They want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. They explain the process so you know what's going on and what to expect. I previously had a lash place that I was happy with in general; although I didn't like the burning reaction in my eyes every time . I kept driving to OC. I thought it was just "Beauty is Pain" . Leaving your lashes clean,fresh and SECURE (no shedding or fall out). Oh and NO BURNING. Most places tell you not to even wash your lashes for 24 hours.
