I've been coming here pretty much every weekday for a few months now (I look forward to my post-work pre-roll more than I look forward to my own wedding), and every single time, I walk out with a smile on my face. Big shoutouts especially to Kenny, Teddy, and Brian. These guys are essentially your Apple Store Geniuses when you enter the shop. I always get the best recommendations for strains and carts based off of my mood that week, and I trust that every product I purchase here is legit. I haven't had a single bum cart or a stale nug of flower. Everything is top-notch. There's something really great happening in New York, as smoke shops transition into a more polished and professional realm, but some of these places in the neighborhood are out to upsell you. Like, I get it, live resin is cool, but if I came in asking for a $40 Mad Labs cart, I don't want to be told about "how much higher" I'll get for just $25 more. Not naming names, but these guys would never do that to you. In addition to the staff expertise and quality of products, this place is just fun. There's a huge variety of beverages, including sodas, seltzers, and energy drinks, as well as a plethora of brightly colored classic (and international!) snacks. And the staff are good people -- pleasant to talk to, they remember your face and your preferences, and sometimes feel like old friends. It's really not their job to be nice to me. I mean, I'm gonna buy something either way. But they make a point to ask about your day, how are you, how's the new job, how's the wife, like, they remember that stuff! And after trying several shops that rated from 'are you kidding me' to 'meh', I ended up having to work my way further out. Well, Miss Goldilocks has found her 'just right', nine blocks away... the Green Olive Smoke Shop, ROCKS! After going back several times, and having a really good experience every time, I decided it was time to let the Yelp world know. Their product has been great every time, they even sell cigarettes at a fair price (I know- eww, gross, lol). It's owned by two brothers (I think) who take their business seriously, and are also chill; Matt is usually there the times I go, and he's always been really nice, and patient with any questions. A lot of other dispensaries sell Dank prerolls for at least 14 bucks. I sat in front of the cozy dispensary where they have a couple of seats on the sidewalk to sit and smoke.
