This studio has definitely earned and lived up to its Best of Flagstaff 2017 title! The studio is extremely clean and welcoming, you're automatically greeted by someone as you walk through the door. All of the artists here are extremely talented and have their portfolios on a table to look at as you wait. I had the pleasure of getting my first tattoo done by Francisco and I could not be more happy with how it turned out. I provided him with two reference photos and he transformed my inspirations into a work of art that was beyond what I was expecting! If you are looking to get anything with fine line work, Francisco will exceed your expectations with his artwork. I also got tattooed by their apprentice, Sabrina, who even stayed after hours and took her time to finish the piece that she had been working on and I was super happy with how it turned out. Avail Tattoo is the only tattoo shop I've ever been to that instantly felt like home. The staff is friendly, welcoming, versatile, and very talented. I've been to almost every main tattoo shop in town for various tattoos over the course of 15 years, Avail is the only shop I've ever felt comfortable in no matter who's working. Whether I was getting a flash piece or a large sleeve, I've always felt my tattoo was important. Timm is incredibly talented and does amazing tattoos. My boyfriend and I went in randomly for tattoos... we saw they were rated 5 stars on Yelp and then ventured to their website and saw they were voted best of Flagstaff. Tim was my artist. I had asked for a tattoo on my neck in honor of my mom passing. I emailed him pictures and explained to him exactly what I wanted, which he exceeded my expectations. My tattoo was $300, really not expensive at all. But as we all know, cheap tattoos are not good and good tattoos are not cheap so money well spent. The atmosphere was definitely what you would expect at any other tattoo shop fun, welcoming and engaging. It's only been a month and I'm already ready for my next tattoo with him definitely can't wait. read more

The guys at avail tattoo studio were awesome today! We went to tour NAU and made a last minute decision to get matching sister tattoos! They were more than accommodating, they made us feel like it we were family and at home hanging out with friends... especially for it being our first time there! The tattoos are crisp and clean! Absolutely love this place!!!! I reached out to Tim through email with an idea of what I wanted and he got me in on my birthday! The shop is very clean and tidy and all the artists were very nice even offering to get me something to drink from the gas station while I was on the table! I came to Avail Tattoo out of town and got some tattoos done by Tyler. I've never left a review on anything but I am in absolute awe of how kind every single person was at the shop. Avail is such a sick place literally the greatest tattoo shop. My boy Bryce is very professional, amazingly attentive, super rad, and an awesome artist. I LOVED this shop! I have several tattoos and this was honestly one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had. The shop is super clean, fair prices and the artists were all super nice. We actually showed up on the wrong day and Tim the janitor** was able to get us in and did an AMAZING job, especially for being a janitor. I was a walking while on holidays in Flagstaff, I had 2 good tattoos joined by some bad wind bars. Tim Recommended Jed to fix them up. He spent 2 hours drawing on me till he was happy. The Tattoo he did on my arm is absolutely awesome, he is a artist! This is a 5 star shop for sure. The staff was amazing and made myself and my friends feel comfortable. There is such a warm and cozy feeling that makes you feel right at home. My boyfriend and I went in and got our first tattoos and had an amazing time! I had Bryce and my boyfriend had Tim. Everyone was so friendly and really made the experience wonderful. It was hilarious to hear the staff arguing about a bet involving steaks for the winners, then actually see the steaks being brought back.
