We just moved into our house, had a water pipe outside leaking and so rusty. Called Richard for an estimate, he requested a couple of photos, ID the issue, which was an iron gas cap placed on a copper water pipe causing electrolysis. He gave us a quote, was able to fit us in bases on our scheduled and fixed everything right away. He explained everything to us, came in a little under quote and then gave us a military discount. Available Plumbing Services went out of their way to fit me in and stop by around dinner time to give an estimate for removing a rusted-on and leaking water hose in which another company- an appliance delivery service, were unable to connect my brand new washing machine. I scheduled an appointment with Richard to replace my daughter's kitchen faucet after reading his excellent reviews and I'm so happy I did. Immediately after receiving his call he was on his way, I realized I'd purchased the wrong faucet. When I called him, he said no problem, he would grab lunch and give me time to exchange the faucet. Also, the morning of the appointment, my granddaughter reported a plugged drain. Richard replaced the faucet and returned the following day to snake the drain. On a holiday week! I can't say enough positive things about Richard's company, AVAILABLE PLUMBING. I had an emergency yesterday as my hot water heater died and was gushing water. Of course I panicked as I have kids and a senior in the house and it was Friday. I contacted Richard and not only did he know who I was, but assured me that I would be up and running that day!! He put me at ease and acted like I was his only concern for the day. His happy personality is so comforting bar NONE! True to his word, he installed a brand new water heater with all the new items that go with it, and earthquake braced it. One thing about this trip was that he showed me how to turn off the water but keep the cold water so that we could at least have toilets and sink water while we waited. Then he hooked up the hot water while he worked so that hot water was available when he was finished. There was no waiting. Very considerate! We had a major plumbing problem at Main Street Vet that required a plumbing upgrade. Our hospital works out of a converted house on Main Street that was built in 1865. The house in in need of constant attention and repair. We love it and always try to treat it with love similar to how a sailor might keep his boat. I was so impressed with Richard. He did such a great job in addressing our problem and worked so hard to do it in a way that did not damage any of the rest of the house or the foundation. He is funny, fast, friendly, very competitively priced, and he showed me exactly what he was going to need to do to replace the regulator.
