He arranged to come back later that day with a team to do that. There was no charge for 2 hours he spent trying to clear the line. He and Tony Castaneda came back that afternoon did the clean out with 100% success. They were both extremely professional and knowledgeable, they cleaned the kitchen and everything was back to normal. A great job and a very reasonable cost considering the amount of work they did. I recently needed to have a faucet replaced. That work seemed a bit expensive but I did not get any other estimates so that's just my perception. While the plumber was here, I had him take a look at a different bathroom because I needed to have the faucet and a vanity replaced. I received the written estimate but because it seemed exorbitantly high, I emailed back with some specific questions. I never received a response. So I emailed again, and still did not receive a response. About a week later I called the office and asked if anyone was going to respond to my questions. The person who answered the phone said yes that the person who prepared the quote would call me back. That never happened. I moved forward with the work using a different plumber. The estimate from Thousand Oaks Plumbing was $4,700. The plumber that just completed the work replaced the existing vanity sink, faucet, and all associated plumbing for $1,400. I guess I know why no one from Thousand Oaks Plumbing wanted to answer my questions. Honestly, I was very surprised to be blown off like that. I don't know if there's been a change in ownership but I guess I won't be using them as much as I have in the past, and if I use them again, I will certainly be much more cautious about getting more than one estimate.

Ask for Geovanni Penate…read more This is our second time working with Team Rooter Venture Inc in the Ventura , CA area.     In 2024, we thoroughly researched and contacted multiple plumbers in the area.  This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend).  They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays.  They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose.  Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink.  We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem.  I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out.  *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done.   This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best  - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue.  Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual.  (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.)  He brought his tools and laptop to visually show up pricing breakdown and clearly explained our options. I want to know what we will be spending upfront. Courteous - Geovanni is so polite and well spoken.  He acknowledged my children and always wore shoe covers inside the house. He is meticulous and he would put things back if he moved them out of his way.  Some areas of our house were cleaner after he left than before he got there.  Knowledgeable - Geovanni also answered all of our questions (and I had a bunch in the 5 days he was at our house).  He explained in a way we understood. If there was something he didn't know, he would figure it out.  And this is how we met Israel, who also works with Team Rooter.  I think it's great that the Simi Valley office works together to get the job done.  I felt very confident that our plumbing would be in order at a reasonable price by the time they left us. *We also got to meet the Jetter operator and Steven (manager I believe) from Team Rooter. Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently.  The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place).  He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house).  I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues.         If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again.  Would recommend to all of our friends and family. I believe they have offices to cover from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

We're very grateful to him for his quick and professional work - his team was prompt and cleaned up for themselves very nicely, they went down to the city to apply for our permit, and worked with the inspector to get us over the finish line. They dug on our property and sidewalk, but were in an out as quickly as possible, repaired a broken pipe, and left the property in as good a condition as when they found it. For any sewer work in the future, we would definitely work with Anthony and his team again.

A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. He fixed the issue immediately and that experience stuck with us. Fast forward to this week, we used them again. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. First, why are there 4 different names to this company? Sewer rescue, pro quality plumbing, noble…read moreplumbing, and JC plumbing? I got a quote from Sewer Rescue. They came to our home and within 2 minutes was giving me a quote of $17.5k. Didn't look at the pipes or listen to me at all. I told them I didn't need the kitchen pipes redone, only the bathrooms, and he told me kitchen pipes are always they worst, so we'll do that, too. He said they'd tunnel 6 ft under the foundation of the property, putting someone completely under the house without looking at how it was built or the current state of it. When I asked him questions he was clearly annoyed with me. We've had lead pipes in places, but when I asked about it he said we have good water pressure so I don't need to worry about lead. That makes no sense. After that I stopped asking because I figured we would just be wasting time. I knew at that point I wasn't using this company. They never sent me an estimate or followed up at all. Every red flag in the book. I'd be very careful with this company.
