Only people with negative experiences or someone with an agenda take the time to write reviews So here I am a year later writing my first review in over a decade because they deserve it. They were efficient and knowledgeable. We moved into a home that was leaking sewage from the dishwasher line. There was a lake under the house and it smelled horrible. It had been leaking for awhile. I thought we would have to cut off one bathroom and find the break later. They showed up early and said, I've seen worse lets take a look. H&H Was assigned by the home warranty company to come out and fix my broken sump pump. That was Jan 2017. Now I'm getting ready to sell my house and i've had several contractors come by to quote work that needs to be done under the house and all of them and the home inspection company have called out the incorrect way H&H plumbed the pump and all of them said it needs to be taken out and plumbed correctly before I sell the house. read more

Leaking toilet--looked at by H&H--They told us that they "couldn't do anything", and left. Their office person said that our toilet was not "up to code" and that their equipment "wouldn't fit". Next day another plumber found the problem to be extensive--required digging and replacing a pipe. This meant several hours of heavy work. I had the pleasure of watching Cory from H&H Plumbing snake and clear my kitchen drain just four days after watching another plumber do the same action (with results that lasted only 30 minutes.) In other words, the first plumber did not perform the snake for a long enough period of time, did not test the drain for a long enough time. I was unable to perform kitchen functions because water backed up in the drain after 1 minute . After failing to keep several promises to provide a plumber technician to my home, I called H & H. They were here three hours after my call. Corey was very professional. I watched everything he did, and he did it all thoroughly. He flushed the toilet in the household to make sure that the main drain was open, and let the water run for a good six minutes to make sure the drain was now open. When he was finished he vacuumed the floor around the pipes and on the kitchen floor in case anything got on there. Lastly he washed his hands with hot water and soap when he was all done before handing me the invoice. He is outstanding and I will always call H & H from now on. read more

Yelp, you have to get more ratings. At least down to a minus 5. I called this dump and was going to ask for a repipe bid on my house in Paso. I called with my cell phone, via an Angies List number. All is good. An Angies List voice came on saying "press 5 to be connected to the contractor (something like that)", so I pressed 5. The phone rang a while with no answer, so I hung up and called back. Same thing. No problem, this happens. About an hr later I tried again, went through the "press 5" thing again and this time they picked up giving me this professional greeting: "What the F*&^% do you want?", then he hung up. So I figured Angies list had the wrong number listed and I was mistakenly talking to some dead beat, so I googled H & H plumbing and, wallah, the same number is listed. So I called back (this time from another phone). Same guy/voice picked up: "H&H....". Sweet as could be now. I hung up. The guy is a total clown. read more

H & H came out to our home first thing in the morning after we called with a mainline sewage blockage, and called twice to confirm they were coming, etc. Very friendly, very helpful, stayed much longer than they had planned as we could not find the clean outs to the line. Even came back later that day to get the job done once we had the builder locate the clean out. So happy to be able to use our water, toilets, dishwasher etc again in less than 24 hrs after calling. I spoke with Barbara, his wife and straight out asked if he was grumpy or rude, and told her I didn't want to pay for that type of service. She put my concerns to rest quickly. I have been using H&H since I moved I bought my house here in 1997. Gary, his wife and son are all such wonderful people. Yes, Gary can be a bit gruff on the outside at times, but he is no nonsense, knows what he is doing and will not rip you off. I always know I can trust what he says. In my first house, the old pipes were starting to go. He told me to keep an eye on them and we could replace them bit by bit as needed so I didn't have to pay for the full replumbing all at once. I so appreciated this as a new homeowner just getting started. I have not met more caring people, something anyone would see if they just stopped to talk to them. Owning an old house, I have had to use them for various things and the job is always done right, from pressure regulators, to a new toilet, repairing leaks, new plumbing fixtures, etc. I always know I can count on the Hubbards to take care of my plumbing issues. Oh,they are awesome coaches, volunteering their time to coach basketball for the rec program. Just good people.
