Shay did a fantastic job on my daughter's hair! We came in a few days ago for a consultation and showed Shay a picture of what my daughter wanted. Shay was confident she could do it, so we scheduled an appointment with her. Shay is just the sweetest person! After we checked in for the appointment, she greeted us with the biggest smile and was eager to work on my daughter's hair. I dropped my daughter off for a few hours, and when I came back, she has pretty black and blue hair. Shay styled it really cute and my daughter walked out of there with so much more confidence. We will definitely be back and we'll be asking for Shay!

Basic trim for this gorgeous girl by me!

I was a student here, prior to transferring to another cosmetology school. When Lyndsay was the director, I enjoyed my experience. Dede was an amazing instructor, as was Raquel, and I will always speak highly of them. Unfortunately, I had a miserable time after Lyndsay left. The new director didn't seem to understand me or my problems. I had taken a leave of absence due to my son getting RSV back in November. I submitted absolutely everything that was required of me, MULTIPLE times in fact, and was told by the director it had been approved. Fast forward to July 2023, I am dropped just 2 weeks before graduation. I call corporate (480-246-8439) and have an email conversation back and forth to which I am told that particular leave was never approved. Cool. I'm a single mom that can barely afford school as is, and I'm told they denied my leave that I had no control over. I was told it was "inappropriate " to bring the issue up when I had not previously known about the "denied leave" until THAT day. Unprofessionalism at its finest. The students however do incredible work! We are bribed with "Avalon dollars" school money, to tell our clients to leave us great reviews. I'm leaving my truth after having been through the worst experience of my life. I'm appalled at the way everything was handled, and the fact that no one was willing to correct their own mistakes regarding my LOA. This school lacks a lot of accountability, and I have already dissuaded a few prospective students, and I'd advise you do your research prior to enrolling. Google is not a good place to look as , again, we are bribed to get good reviews. Any other review platform will tell you the truth of the matter.

I suffer from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), which can be incredibly painful and significantly affect daily life. After 12 weeks of physical therapy with little improvement, I began to lose hope that I would ever find relief. Knowing that stress and tight fascia might be contributing to my symptoms, I decided to try therapeutic massage at Spa One. Working with Yale has been life-changing. In less than half the time I spent in physical therapy, my pain and numbness improved dramatically, and I can honestly say I feel 99% better. In addition to treatment, Yale provided exercises to help strengthen the areas that contribute to my TOS and support long-term improvement. This experience has completely changed my perspective on massage therapy. It's not just a luxury--it's an important part of overall health and wellness. I am incredibly grateful for Yale's knowledge, care, and dedication, and I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues.

I booked a true 90-minute massage, and it was exactly that--no shortcuts, no rush, just pure bliss the entire time. My therapist, David, was amazing! He really listened to what I needed and gave extra attention to the areas that were tight and sore, without overlooking anything else. The level of detail and care he put into the massage was incredible--I left feeling like a completely new person. Albeit slightly jello like. :) The service overall was fantastic, as it always is, and the whole experience was so thoughtfully done. If you're looking for a place that actually delivers on quality and provides a calming escape, Spa One is where you want to be. I'm already planning my next visit!

Swelling was terrible and they never said to put cool packs on my face. In fact, they said not to. Afterwards, I have found that that would have helped. The bigger problem is shown in the photos. On my left eye he did something horribly wrong and you can see from the other photo that I never had this pulling/puckering on that side until after the surgery. I waited a year and went back and he was like what's the problem? He did at least note on the photos that I didn't have that Before but brushed it off and told me to get Botox, but that of course didn't help at all. One side of my eye looks like natural wrinkles, but the other aisle looks very weird. It's like he pulled some muscle too tight right through that spot But wouldn't know up to it.I would definitely not go to him and wish I hadn't. Looks terrible. I tried to post photos, but it wouldn't let me

My concerns were brushed off, and it was painfully obvious that I was being viewed as a dollar sign rather than a patient. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and did not move forward with surgery here. Unfortunately, my husband did. He paid $11,300 for a hair transplant at Utah Facial Plastics, only to be left with an uneven + unnatural hairlin. Oh, and just the other day he was asked if he had ever looked into a hair transplant, which tells you how much it didn't improve. Today was his one-year follow-up. Instead of taking responsibility, he was told: "If we did a second transplant, it would just look like it does on top." That is not the problem, Dr. Thompson. The problem is that you took $11,300 and gave someone a bad hairline, then spent a year deflecting his concerns instead of addressing a clearly subpar result. If you're considering this practice, be warned: once they have your money, your satisfaction no longer matters.

I called today and spoke with Sophia. What a nightmare of a person…read more Let me start by saying I spent hours this morning looking for a quality local salon. I am from Los Angeles where the nail scene is very competitive and top notch. So I recognize quality. I saw some work by a girl named Linda and called Luxor to book an appointment. This is how it went. Called: no answer just kept ringing. Called again (using a number from Google instead of yelp thinking maybe that was an old number or something)... someone answered. I said: Hi! I'd like to book a full set with Linda if possible! The girl on the phone at Luxor says: "she doesn't work here anymore" I said: "oh! Ok! Thank you!" She says: "what's your name??" I said: (taken by surprise by her harsh tone and wondering why on earth she needs my name) "Oh I'm Chrissy" She says: "ok yea where did you see her work bc she's not here anymore we have other ppl, do you want to book with someone else?" I tell her that I did some research on yelp and google and wanted to book with her bc I'm particular and liked being able to see her work and what she can do. She tells me most of their up to date work is in their instagram and tells me the handle. We end the call. I then decided to look at their insta and I see some good work. So I decide to call back to book. Call four times in a row with no answer. Just keeps ringing. 5th time Sophia answers, I tell her hey I just called blah blah blah but I saw the work and would like to book! She says "IM ALL GOOD ON PICKY!" I ignore the incredibly immature and rude comment and continue on by saying "yea I'm from Los Angeles and I am just having a hard time finding someone who is the same quality as what I'm used to but the work on insta was good do you have any openings today for a full set?" She then kind of changed her tune and starts saying "yea girl tell me about it! I know it's hard to find good ppl here! Then proceeds to say she's the best nail girl there for me. Can I book a full set today? No we are all booked today. OKAAAAAYYYY! Thanks girlie! (girl BYE) Terrible attitude, unprofessional, immature and it's safe to say I'll never go to Luxor. I don't do MEAN GIRL VIBES. Go to Joyful Nails, it's in a better location, way nicer inside, friendly staff and my nails are IMMACULATE! Fair prices too!
