The prices are a slight higher than Lowe's but the quality 'looks' better here. Now, with that being said, the lady who was working was very dry and didn't seem interested in helping us or didn't provide answers to our questions. I felt this way inside the store (and kept my thoughts to myself). When we left my son mentioned that he wanted to ask if they were hiring but he didn't think the lady felt like talking today, lol. Maybe it was an off day for her, it was very hot and the store was pretty busy.

These aren't like the plants you see for sale in places like the grocery store, or big box store. These are each uniquely lovely and vibrant. Healthy! They all seemed so much healthier and more vibrant than plants I typically see in shops. I seriously would have bought a dozen of them if I had a way to get them all back to Chicago with me tomorrow. I wish I could take a class here. The owner and the other shop keeper were so sweet and helpful! I love my little plant and I'm sure my colleague will be delighted tomorrow. The owner even put it in a cute candy cane gift bag. Yelp says it closes at 3 pm, but I was there around 6 pm and it was open for business. It's walking distance from Aloft Hotel and also The Worthingon Renaissance Hotel, so if you are staying there give yourself a little adventure time and walk over to this shop, then stop by MELT Ice Cream next door for a treat!

Unfortunately they don't carry small or tiny plants. I picked up some low maintenance plants for home and the office, a golden pothos and a vibrant orange kalanchoe. The plants looked healthy, well watered and appear easy to take care of. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm grateful for another nursery that's not far and I look forward to returning.

Last year, I went to Home D and wasted three times the amount of money on junk soil. I had a terrible 2020 growing season. Rocky's estimate on the quantity was the spot on amount I needed. I was expecting to go back for another scoop but it wasn't necessary. I got just the right amount I needed. So what are you waiting for? Save some money so you can take out yo honey! Thanks Rock! PS: Unless you like wasting money, stop buying that trash munch at big box stores. Especially the ones with dyes. Also, from what I understand, they attract bugs not repel them (you can fact check me on that). They don't last and they only fade. They only look good for the first month. Been there a total of TWO (2) times and each time the transaction was successfully completed (goods…read morefor $$$$). First visit was Q1 2024 for a pickup load of "hot" mushroom compost, the second visist was Q4 2024 for a pickup load again of Promix organic mushroom compost for $70 + tax. Each time the guy at the counter was cool, just doing his job kind of way. That good. He told me to follow this guy on the tractor with the loader. I knew this would be janky because I am a terrible driver and non understanding of such directions. The young fella on the tractor made allowances for me, I could tell he knew I was gonna make a wrong turn or some crazy move. His eyes told me "crazy woman driver" and I was just fine with that. He hadn't seen me yet with a shopping cart at Walmart attempting to manuever through the aisles. 12 year old grandson gave me a few directions and it all came out just fine. This Promix Mushroom compost is not recommended to go direct on the garden / flower beds as it needs to cook a bit longer. I add it as a topping mix over the winter to break down on top of fallow beds and/or to mix into the compost heaps to help the fermentation. It works.

The problem is we didn't know we had to exchange the old for a new for it to be covered through Moore. Which isn't their fault! We had bought a water heater from HD, then called to get it credited.
