Working to their estimate, LCG removed our old roof, replaced damaged plywood, and installed new roofing and skylights. They were careful and professional throughout. In particular, their clean-up each day was exceptional: it was by far the best of the 3 different roofing jobs I've been involved with in the past few years. Before I contacted anyone to have my roof done, I needed to do some homework and got up there and…read moreassessed the condition of my roof. The shingles were 30 years old, worn out, and on top of one or more layers. The seals around the vents and flashing were cracked from age and weather. There were considerable wood damage from dry rot and termites. This was going to be a big expensive job. I had estimates from four roofers found on Yelp all bonded and licensed. I reviewed the estimates, their contracts, materials offered, wood replacement costs, response to contingencies, and answers to questions I had of the whole process. Steve and Nik of Accurate Roofing Solutions came up on top. Their wood replacement costs were from low to average compared to others. If the wood replacement cost was high, the roofing estimate would balloon quickly. What if it rains? Is there extra cost to tarp the roof during that time? There was no extra charge with Accurate. Other deciding factors in my selection of Accurate is that they were in the South Bay. They had their own construction team and don't use contract labor. They knew how this beach city permit and inspection system works and got me through it with no issues. My entire experience with Accurate Roofing Solutions has been very pleasant right from the very beginning when Steve sent his project manager, Nik to inspect my roof and provide me an estimate. After awarding the job to Accurate Roofing, Nik and I discussed what is needed to prepare the house before his team shows up.
