So, when the Fort Morgan Humane Society was offered a free, but not-working van to transport dogs and cats, he offered to fix the van for free. Truly amazing! There were many mechanical issues with the van and it seemed as he repaired one problem another problem would pop up since the van was a 2013 Ford that was sitting in a parking lot for several years. He fixed everything! Now the Fort Morgan Humane Society has a "new" van to transport dogs and cats to the vet or to Front Range humane societies to help them find a new home when our shelter is full. This is invaluable for us. We are a small, rural, and always poor, humane society on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Steve, we are indebted to you! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! Woof! They got me right in with very little wait. Steve ground off all the rough, rusty obstructions and got my tire to seal without a leak (so far anyway). Then when I asked Steve how much I owed him, he said not a penny. I couldn't let this kindhearted man work for free so I forced $20 in his hand. I'm very pleased with my visit. I verbally confirmed when I ordered AND before they installed, but it still came out with black bolts. They apologized and ordered chrome bolts and said they wouldn't charge me. Then charged me $66 dollars for the bolts. When I complained, they lied and insisted it was my fault. The techs did a good job on the install, but I'll never come back because the service managers are liars.

I called and talked to Nicki (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), and she was very informative, as to what they would need to do. She gave me a price breakdown, for the parts, labor, tax, and alignment, for our particular truck. The following day, me and my wife were off from work, and since I am more of a visual person, we decided to stop by this establishment to see exactly what they were going to do. When we got there, Nicki was busy helping another customer, I ended up talking to Shawn ( sorry if I spelled your name wrong). Shawn was also very helpful, as well as informative, and quoted me the same price as Nicki. Shawn didn't try to upswell, he was catering to what I wanted, which was very comforting. After me and my wife decided to get this done, I called Aerosuds, talked to Shawn, he went over the exact price again, he ordered the part (which I paid for in advance), and had the leveling kit installed two days later. When I picked up the truck, it was later in the evening, so I really couldn't see how the truck looked. I couldn't wait to the morning to get a good look at the truck, and what was done. All I can say is "WOW", I am so happy with how the truck looks, but more impressed with the level of professionalism, and customer service that was provided. He replaced the full front panel and was able to perfectly match the color, sparkly white (I don't know the actual color name), and it is impossible to tell the difference. He was able to get an original Subaru replacement panel for the cost of the OEM part and completed the work in 2 days. And his price was better than the other shops. I could not be more pleased with how my car looks and the entire experience. It is rare these days to have the shop owner actually do the work and Mike takes pride in his work. He took some photos and emailed me a few days later with an estimate, which I thought was reasonable. I met him again on 12 August and gave him a check for $200 as an advance on parts for the repair. That was the last time Rich or anyone from Midwest Auto Body contacted me. I emailed them on 8 September to inquire about the status on the order and scheduling the work, but no one replied. I phoned several times over the next couple months. In one call, Rich said that he was relocating his work garage from Wattenberg to Longmont and that things were in disarray so he didn't know when he could do the work and didn't know the status of my parts order. The next two times I called, he only told me that he "hadn't forgot about" me but didn't know if he had the parts I'd paid for and "would have to check". On my last call, on 22 October, he agreed to call me back soon with status, but never did. No one from Midwest Auto Body ever proactively contacted me to give me an update. I assume that my $200 is lost, and it's probably not worth my time to try to recover it. But I felt that I had to share this experience to potentially save others the same kind of trouble.
