I went to Avanti to laser my side burns and i had the best experience! i did six sessions and even by the third my hair was already thinner and lot less noticeable. I had laser here for 2 years, and in those two years I was charge double for my membership on multiple Occasions, each time was a dilema to get a refund. After this last time I was charged, they owed me $400. the bank notified me that they were manually charging me, I had to once again argue to get a refund. I went in for my last service and explained it would be my last and they insisted I needed to pay for it even though i had been paying in advance for my sessions since november 2018. Horrible customer service ... It's a mission for you to ever get in contact with them ... they charged me 1000 once for 4 months of laser because they claim that care credit doesn't pay them enough so it has to be a good amount because if not there not winning anything ... which is not my concern lol but I did it anyway "to help THEM".. and when I was done with the sessions they added me on another deal that was way cheaper which was the original price for everyone .. got scammed big time ... when they offered me the plan they FORGOT to mention that it was an automatic withdrawal monthly .. I text them and they don't answer One of the first times that I decided to go I had an apt at 5pm ... I arrive and the store was CLOSED .. I called because mind you , I have their office number and they text as well .. when I called they said oops sorry we called you but you didn't pick up .. no voice mail no text ... I work with customers so I know how a customer has to be treated .. another time I arrived 15 min before And while I'm there with them sitting down they said oh you arrived too early .. they were taking about anything other business in front of me .. after several minutes they attended me because they noticed I was upset .. I have sessions pending with them and I rather waste my money then go back honestly I rather go somewhere that I know I will received great quality customer service You can tell they don't care about the members It's all about money for them which is sad because that's how they loose their customers Many of the other complaints I can relate too and it doesn't surprise me at all because I've seen it Instead of lifting you the bring you down .. they try to offer you their products by saying oh for your wrinkles right there that you have on your head ... lol The worst part is that they don't realize that they are messing up I can go on but just read the other negative comments .. Worst Med Spa in Miami. Speaking from the experience my sister had with Avanti and it was horrible. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Good luck trying to get an appointment here because they will constantly re schedule your appointment even after you having missed over 2 months of your service, in this case she was getting laser hair removal. They have no consideration or care for the customer whatsoever. Their customer service is straight up TRASH. They barely even answer the phone and when they do apparently Sheila or whoever else picks up is not in office so they can't even attend you properly. We figured they have their personal phone connected to the spa. They will tell you that they will call you back and leave you waiting forever because they never do. Super unprofessional. Also, my sister has called during working hours as stated in their website and when she calls they tell her they're closed??? This business is all types of messed up. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else. Also, just so you're aware half of these 5 star reviews are basically asked for by Avanti. Yes, they will ask you to leave a good review just so their business looks good when really their customer service sucks, and they don't even provide you with the service you're paying for. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE. Literally the most unprofessional spa I have come across. I noticed on Groupon that they were having a special of $60 something dollars for 6 sessions of a small area laser hair removal. I was interested in getting my underarms done and I know that underarms is considered a small area everywhere (search it up). However, when I call about this promotion they tell me to not purchase the Groupon and that they will honor this price upon arrival if I just pay at the spa. When I arrived to the spa they had the nerve to tell me that underarms is not a small area and that it is actually a medium area and that the price will end up being $90 something dollars instead (not honoring the price they said they would upon speaking to them on the phone) . These people clearly have no knowledge of what they're doing... on their Groupon it even said under the small area category that underarms was a small area but they told me that they had called Groupon days before to change it and they haven't. LOL ok. Sketchy, False Advertisement, and this is most likely a lie. These people will literally lie to you to just try and get more money out of your pocket, please do your re search in the service you're getting beforehand. It is clear they are inexperienced. There are plenty of other Spas in Miami that provide the same services Avanti does and you can for sure find a better spa with the great customer service this place clearly lacks. I hate that I even have to give them one star. I absolutely never write reviews but this experience has been so incredibly unprofessional that I felt the need too. I choose this place because I had read all these glowing reviews. I always do proper research before investing into a place especially when it comes to tedious treatments. I purchased a Groupon for (6) laser treatments. I have been calling for over 3 three weeks to get an appointment booked. The first time I called the women who in itself with her tone was rude and not pleasant whatsoever. As a matter of fact she forwarded my phone call the first time I called. The second time, she responded and she answered the phone as if it was her personal cell-phone and I was a nuisance. It was just consistent attitude for absolutely no reason as I kept it pleasant. When this women proceeds to answer she tells me that due to the time she would call me back and requested I send her a text message with my email. I waited five days consistently checking my email. Not once was I sent anything. I checked my missed calls nothing. So, I called again and once again the same thing happens. She proceeded to ignore my first (2) calls. I checked the time and it was normal business hours according to the information provided for them. On the third call she finally chooses to answer and again she tells me its a holiday weekend which I understood but it was July 2nd and businesses were still functioning. I didn't understand how difficult it was to simply give me a date and time to come. It takes a mere five minutes to do this. Considering this behavior before even arriving at the business! I'm currently in the process of getting my money refunded. If their quality of customer service is this disgusting, I can't imagine their actual work. I've never been so disappointed. From the tone of her voice after I told her I had purchased a Groupon I could tell she didn't want to work with me. I honestly feel she was purposely delaying giving me an appointment so my Groupon would expire and id have to pay a higher price. THIS IS SO DECEITFUL.
