They ripped me off on EBay and had to of lied to EBay as well! I ordered $1336 in Wescott Flex Kit batteries and they were very obviously damaged. They accepted my return on EBay and then never refunded my money. I have photos and proof of our EBay chat regarding all of this. The store is nice. This is my to-go store for everything I need for photography. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They do nice events like this one from the photos where they ring models and cameras for you to try and take photos. They also have lessons and more. They are the best store in town. read more

I had a few old cameras and lens I wanted to sell. And I was super excited to come by this location as I had read a lot of reviews. But a few things kinda made my experience not great. For one, I felt like the entire time I was in the store I was being followed or watched. Like a criminal. Secondly, I brought in a old Sony mirrorless dslr, a old Canon dslr and about 3 additional lenses. Although the cameras were dated. I was quoted a whopping $90 for all of the items listed. Including the chargers and other accessories I had for theses items. The price was completely unfair and their justification was it was "market price" however ONE of the cameras I wanted to sell was going for $150 alone on EBAY. I understand older cameras can be hard to sell with the new era of content creation. However low balling customers is completely unfair. Especially as the cameras and lenses were like new. If you plan on selling cameras here I suggest another store or location or even EBAY. Following me throughout the store while I was there and then low balling my items was super disappointing and ruined my excitement. I didn't by any means want a $1000 for all of my items. But a reasonable price that actually "matched" market value would be nice. read more

I am buying from this store few year and for the first time after I come to the store to pick up my order and they verify my Id and email the girl takes my id and print it , she didn't even ask if she can I don't like that at all is not correct to take my document and print it without my consent. Backordered an X100V and then tried to cancel the backorder 2 weeks later via email, chat, and phone and despite multiple promises no one ever sent me a cancellation email or refunded my $1,500 via PayPal. Had to file a PayPal dispute to attempt to get my money back. Why? 1 whole month later still holding my funds hostage. read more

I called the store four days ago to inquire about a new tripod (Benro KH26P) recently released on the market. They said they had it in stock. Yesterday, I call them again from work and ask if they still had the tripod available. They said they did. I explained that I would be at the store to buy the tripod as soon as I left work. The guy on the phone gave me directions to the store and said he'd see me soon. I asked if they did a military discount, he said they did at 5%. I said great. I drove from my home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida (110 miles approximately) to their location in Miami. When I arrived, the young lady at the counter tells me they've "just" sold the last tripod that I wanted, and offer me different and more expensive variants from the same company. I was upset beyond words. I left the store and called the store, getting the same young man I had spoken to early. At first, he said they still had the item, then he "checked" and said they had just sold the last one that I wanted. I explained that this was bad customer service. He said "What do you mean?" I began telling him the effort it took for me to drive from home to pick up the item, only to arrive and be told "It was just sold". was bad business. The line suddenly went dead. As I said to him, BAD BUSINESS! The entire scenario reeked of a bait and switch con to get you to the store for me. If you don't have an item, tell the customer so. Be honest. They're customer service was atrocious! I would not recommend anyone dealing with this company based on my experience with them. Disappointed and disrespected is what I left the store feeling. read more

FRAUD ALERT - Terrible business. You buy something and receive no e-mail. When you call them nobody picks up the phone. When you email them 5 times, someone finally responds but doesn't address any of the questions you sent or provide a tracking ID. Not sure if this is a scam or just ineptitude, but either way Visa and other merchant tools should drop them ASAP until they adhere to minimal professionalism and business practices. read more

The neighborhood camera store is a thing of the past. Like Kodak and film they are mostly a distant memory. Like so many small businesses that have succumbed to the Amazons and internet sales. However in South Florida there remains a bright star called Audio Visual Communications or as it is popularly known AVC Store. AVC is the complete store for serious photographers and those wishing to get into photography. They carry a complete line of all the brand name cameras, lighting equipment, and accessories you could ever want. However, one of their biggest selling points for this photographer was the fact that they take trade ins. I wanted to switch to the more technologically advanced mirrorless cameras from a big name DSLR. They bought all of my old gear and I walked out with the top of the line Sony product. They also regularly bring in big name photographers to give classes, demonstrations, and do photo shoots with real professional models. Names like Jason Lanier, Scott Robert Lim, and Annalise Swan. Finally the ownership is a family business with a knowledgeable and friendly bilingual staff. I highly recommend the AVC Store to anyone interested in photography read more

They don't do film well. They have one guy who does film and only works part time. I went there because I had problems getting film out of the camera and I lost a month's worth of photos because they opened the camera back in the middle of the store. They're good for digital stuff. Full review coming. For now let me say DISGUSTED is the main word I would use to describe this place. I had previously written a good review after having several issues with this store and letting bygones be bygones but it just doesnt end. If the way they treat customers like me who have given them a lot of business is the way they do business they should be OUT of business..they definitely dont know a thing about customer service and act and will be nice to sell you something..and after that its F*CK You!! They owed me screen protectors..Never got them..now there was an update for the Lumix S1 ..everyone I know got theirs and all I hear are stories as to why I dont have mine. WARNING: DO NOT SHOP HERE. I ordered a fuji instax mini 9 from this store via walmart.com and they sent a faulty camera. By the time I got film and tested it twice, it was over the 30 day grace period for returns and instead of working with me to find a solution, they basically brushed me off and said they were sorry and couldn't help. Now I'm out $50 with a non-working camera and have had to put a claim into my Credit Card company for a product that does not live up to its quality. I will think twice about where I order from in the future and will never shop here again. read more

This is by far one of the WORST businesses ever. We dealt with them for a few months. It went well, until they had to issue a refund. And they would deny doing so. This issue started last year in May. However, the issue is still lingering. I have yet to receive my refund for an iPad. They know they owe me and refuse to send me an iPad, and ask me to purchase more from them. VERY UNRELIABLE business. Dealt with "Ivan" and "William" both stopped replying. I've emailed them many times, but no reply. Don't make the mistake of trusting this fraudulent company. I did so for a few months, but then the company made one mistake, which was acknowledged by everyone, yet not resolved. I don't think I'm getting my money back either. read more
