This is a two-parter. I've been coming here for many years consistently since 2017, for my hair retouch (been coming here for other services sporadically in prior years). I really like the non-harsh smells of the products because Aveda uses 97% botanically-derived products. Part 1: Mia did my hair this past saturday. Surprising, her nails were soothing on my scalp. She has long nails so it felt like a massage. Thank You, she did a great job. Wow, it was very pretty. Nice conversation. One of my peeps. Cute little belly, lucky to have a nice pregnancy. I am happy for her. This was last month. Part 2: My roots were ready. Mia did my hair today. Yay! She is great. Used protective cream, it usually, easily stains. My formula is specifically for asian hair; one of the Educators told me this, some time ago. Almost like an illusion: dark indoors, but warm, bright burgundy red in the bright sunlight. It's beautiful. Again, nice conversation. And very thorough too. Another great job with my hair. Using the Dyson made my drying and styling quick; after the pre-drying. Also using the Aveda products made my hair very soft. It turned out very pretty. Maraming salamat. I will set my next appt with her again. read more

Title: Highly recommend Wiley! About three weeks ago, Wiley did a touchup to get rid of my white hair and gave me a beautiful haircut. It took 10 years off my life! I was so happy that I went back today for highlights. I wanted a reddish-burgundy color, and he did exactly that. Very satisfied. Yes, it's a long process, but worth it. My daughters and I have been here numerous times for facials. This last time we all had "back facials" which were AMAZING! Bri was incredible! We have tried out services at several of the local schools and Aveda is by far the "classiest" of them all, the most relaxing and seems to have the most instructor oversight for the students.They have Groupon specials that are great.Their front desk is knowledgeable and always helpful in setting up appointments either by phone or online. On Monday May 11 I visited the Aveda Institute for the 1st time. I was met by very warm reception and escorted to my technicians area. Ashlee greeted me and sat me at her station. I was there for a blow & curl. She was so patient and deliquite with me as I'm disabled and walk with an upright walker. Every step along the way she took the time to tell me first what she was about to do. She offered free 1st time services that were just wonderful and ones I'll consider paying for next time!!! Where do I even start my experience was absolutely amazing. We had an appointment yesterday at 3 o'clock to get my son's first haircut, he is 7 and wanted to donate his hair. From the time we walked in I knew we had chosen the right place because the vibe was very welcoming the receptionist was very sweet. When it came time for my sons haircut a young lady by the name of Sam introduced herself and told us she would be cutting my sons hair. Sam and her instructor Jasmine were beyond amazing they made his first experience getting a haircut the best it could have ever been truly. I highly recommend Sam as she took her time and really listened to what we wanted his first cut to look like. My son smiled the whole time and was so thankful to both Sam and Jasmine. I went into this salon school with about an inch of stubborn grey grow-out on my roots and left feeling like a brunette/auburn goddess! My stylist, Marlene G., was ultra gentle and my visit was relaxing, which I have never experienced at a hair school before (and I've been to several). Marlene gave me a scalp wash that was luxurious. She matched and covered my roots perfectly, and the tone is exactly the rich red/violet color I was hoping for. For a hair school, this experience felt spa-like. I am so happy I came in to get my haircut today. Michelle Gomez was the student and Gilda was the instructor assigned to me. I asked for a couple of inches off to get rid of my split ends, layers starting from my shoulders and bangs that frame my face. Michelle started by washing my hair and giving me the best head massage that I've had here! It felt like the ones I've gotten while getting my hair washed at the actual Aveda Salons! What a great start! In my head, I was thinking that this was going to be a great appointment! Back at her station, she started my haircut and Gilda provided some guidance. The cut was perfect. I visited for a manicure ahead of my daughter's wedding and was very pleased with both the results and the pricing. I requested a traditional polish and manicure, as gel polish has previously damaged my nails. My technician, Yasmin, noted that an LED light is not required for traditional polish. However, one of my nails smudged immediately when I reached into my bag to pay. To improve the experience for future clients, I suggest offering the use of an LED light or a drying station, even for traditional polish, to ensure it is sufficiently set. I purchased three blowouts for $30 on Groupon. The place is easy to find, plenty of parking., easy check-in. unfortunately, the girl burned my hair so bad. She couldn't figure out how to make the hair smooth without turning on the heat and doing it on extra wet hair. You need to at least get the hair to towel dried before applying that much heat. it ended up completely burning and damaging my hair . read more

I feel so pampered when she gives me facials - I've enjoyed the hydro (or aqua) facial and the enzyme chemical facial (which exfoliates and tightens the skin).
