I am SO glad they "didn't have the time or ability to make me happy" in Coon Rapids to fix that disaster, because otherwise I'd have never found Emma in Blaine. Not only is she incredibly personable and understanding, she miraculously made the mess I left Coon Rapids with something that people are now complimenting me on. I backed into a free one and entered. There were some Christmas merchandise deals. I didn't get any because I was more interested in post-Christmas sales. I did find pop. Three two-litre bottles were going for $7. I managed to grab three in my hands. There was a lineup. Luckily, I could place my bottles of pop on various counters to give my arms a rest. There was one man in front of me who had maybe less than $200 cash placed on the counter. The male staffer said in Spanish that he needed this customer's ID. He was also holding each bill up to the light. The customer couldn't produce any ID, so he collected his money and left. One word: interesting. I rarely have cash on me. It was cool seeing so much cash. It was my turn to get another male staffer at the checkout. He didn't say much, but he was great double-bagging my bottles of pop. I entered my phone number to collect reward points. I paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked the man and left with my items. When I got to my hotel room, all three bottles of pop when in the fridge. I was happy. I had a great experience. It was nice to visit a different Walgreens for variety. (6)
