Honestly this place has been great for what I pick up. I sometimes need a cheap disposible and they have plenty that are out the door sub $25. I havent got any of the greens here though so I can't comment on it. It is also nice they are open until 10pm while many others close at 8pm. They take credit as well which makes it easy if you dont have cash on you. read more

Poor communication and customer service. Employee laughed when I told her my budget. A 5 pack of pre rolls for $25. Cheap, I know, but definitely not impossible so not sure why she acted like it was. She processed to recommend I buy this two pack of infused joints for $18 and get the other one half off. So 4 infused joints for $27. Not bad, fair enough. Almost all the weed in the store is of the worst quality at the price of premium goods. A joint for 13 bucks, when in another store it costs 4. I don't think I've ever had such a terrible experience with a dispensary. I was in North Hollywood and saw a good deal on Weedmaps. I ordered online and drove about 8 miles out to Studio City to go pick it up when it would be ready. I got out here and saw my order wasn't ready and there was no update so I called the dispensary. They told me they were out of the product, even though their menu on Weedmaps showed it in stock and they never bothered to call me to tell me the order wouldn't go through. I got out here and called to check on the order an hour after placing it. They told me they were out of stock and that they only had 1/8ths of a different strain in the same brand and I asked if they could just substitute me four of the 1/8ths instead of the 1/2 ounce I ordered. They told me "ok" but the price would be 50% higher than advertised. I wasted an hour ordering and driving out here for a bait and switch. I don't think I've been this angry in months. The guy on the phone didn't even offer to help make it right. This was my first time ordering from this dispensary and my last. It seems like they are just a BS bait and switch operation. They said it's a "live menu" but they don't seem to have any of the products that are a decent deal in stock even though they're listed in stock on Weedmaps. Absolute waste of my time and now all the other dispensaries are gonna be closed by the time I get to another one. Worst experience I've ever had buying weed. ETA: So I tried to go in to talk to a manager after I wrote this review to see if they'd make it right. The security guard snuck up behind me and started calling me names and threatening me, trying to fight me while the owner/manager told me to fuck off and said it was Weedmaps fault. Was a two year customer, and man this place really fell off. The staff is different month to month. The selection on product is minimal at best. Every time I come the debit card reader may or may not work forcing you to use the atm with a $6 fee. I'm just over this place. Plenty of others in the area. -1 customer. read more

The Avenue has been around for a minute, first as a medical marijuana dispensary and now they sell commercially. I had never been in so I dropped by one day and found the staff friendly and courteous and very knowledgeable. And, they have specials! One of the ones I was most excited about was for Wyld--my favorite brand. Right now the special is buy 2, get 1 free but the specials do change every so often, so make sure to check before you go. There are daily specials so chances are that whatever you like, there will be a special available. They take cash and debit cards, or credit cards with a small fee. I've been three times now and have found everyone there to be really great, from the person who checks IDs at the front to the salespeople at the counter. They have a nice long glass counter so you can see the offerings! And the store is bright orange, so you can't miss it. And--this is key in LA always!--there's a free parking lot. There's metered street parking, too, but there are plenty of spaces in the parking lot so you probably won't have to resort to a meter. Great shop, great people, great location. BEWARE PICK UP ORDERS!!!! There is a thief amongst the staff! I had a somewhat decent experience until today. I made an order through the website and arrived to pick up my order. I was greeted by a blonde budtender who seemed fairly nice. However, when she began talking to another budtender (whom I found out is the manager: Ray B) (light skin, braids with loose hair pieces, wore a black shirt with red detail) asking questions about pick up orders. The other budtender (the manager) stated that to just take the money, give merchandise, don't give change back, and that customers won't know the difference. I was standing there looking at her as she said this. When my original budtender looked at me and tried to laugh it off, the other budtender (the manager) asked her if I was the customer. Only for her to try to cover it up and say hypothetically. As if I did not watch her say that confidently. At least have decorum to not say that you steal from customers in front of customers. The original budtender tried to hand me the merchandise I ordered but after that, why would I or anyone want to spend their money here? If you want mediocre weed and to get robbed be my guest. Never going there EVER again. IF YOU PAY WITH CASH AND HAVE CHANGE FROM YOUR TRANSACTION YOU WONT RECEIVE IT EVEN AS AN OPTION read more
