Every flower was perfectly placed, florals & greenery carefully chosen, for our sweet nana. Kat gave us more than we could have ever imagined. She was attentive, reassuring, took note of small detail and most importantly she was gentle, caring and understanding during a very difficult time for our family. Her impeccable work brought tears to everyone's eyes when they saw just how beautiful our 99-year-old nana would be honored on the day we finally lay her to rest. When you see Kat's beautiful and extravagant work through photos, it is essential for potential clients to know, she does not only bring beauty with her talent & amazing soul to the light hearted days - but the hard ones too. All of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren took a rose from the bouquet home, and then Nana was finally laid to rest surrounded by her final flower arrangement made by the sweetest soul, Kat. I called every single florist in the DMV and no one could deliver even remotely close to what Kat gave us while consciously working within our budget. She beyond exceeded every single expectation. A whole 24 hours passed and no confirmation of delivery, no word from the recipient that they had received the arrangement. I called very early the next morning and spoke to a woman who said she was the store manager. She said they normally send out email confirmations upon delivery and checked my order. Sure enough, she told me my arrangement did not go out same day. Additionally, she had the wrong address listed on their end. Not sure how that happened as I checked my receipt and it had the correct address. If I hadn't called to check on the delivery, the arrangement would have ended up at the wrong address. Very unhappy with the demeanor of this woman who was very non chalant at their mistake. She asked me what could be done to make up for the oversight. I asked her what she felt would be appropriate. She said she would make sure that the delivery went out "priority" and she would add some flowers to the arrangement to make up for it. I'm in California and called at 7:30AM PT / 10:30AM Eastern. I didn't receive an email confirmation of delivery until 8PM ET that night!! So much for her promise on "priority." Additionally, the address listed on my confirmation STILL had the incorrect address. I tried calling the store as soon as I received the email to confirm where the arrangement was delivered. No answer. I left a voicemail and asked for someone to call me back. I've given them more than 24 hours to respond and still have not heard from them. I am not familiar with the area as I live on the west coast, and I relied on Yelp to find a "good" florist. I carefully read through reviews for several rated florists and decided to go with Bloom Fresh Flowers. What a let down when there were other highly rated options to choose from. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer care and service here.

Worse still, the guy at Devers treated me like all this was somehow my fault. Edited: Added a star after talking with them for a third (or was it a fourth) time. Ed has agreed to deliver the original arrangement as ordered and honor the price on the website. We'll wait and see how well my gift looks when it arrives. I will say that I appreciate his efforts to make this work for all concerned, but the whole transaction has left a sour taste at this point.
