Their jerky is cut into little 3/4" squares that were tender and delicious. When they say "Spicy" jerky they sure came through in the old zip department. Their cayenne pepper delivered a slow but ever increasing burn that was terrific. Just about perfect if you like spicy like I do. The Teriyaki had great flavor and to my palate, it seemed a little more tender than the Spicy. I liked the Original as well -lots of great classic Beef Jerky flavor, and just as tender as the other two flavors. I read that the company was founded by two brothers-in-law that took their family's 75 years of experience in the meat industry with them from Europe. Their Kosher Certified products are made in small batches that are Gluten Free, Nut free, Nitrate free, and without artificial ingredients. The cows used are grass fed in natural pastures and raised under humane conditions. All in all, I was very impressed with their excellent products.

They deliver a box of meat right to my doorstep once a month and the program is very similar to a CSA. I decided to take a drive out and see the farm and store and I'm very glad I did. The farm is beautiful and the animals are obviously taken good care of. I was able to meet the owner, who was working in the store. She was very nice and answered all of our questions. She encouraged us to try a cut of meat I hadn't purchased before and gave me some great tips on how to prepare it. The store also has a wide variety of locally made products ranging for bakery items to jams/jellies to some delicious cocktail mixers. They also had a variety of beautiful fruits and veggies. If you are of the growing trend of consumers realizing the importance of knowing where your food comes from and how it is produced, this is a great option.
