Almost every agency that could be involved got involved costing money, time, and parenting time. Maybe the way they interview or ask questions by supposed "man dated reporters" need to be modified as I am a mandated reporter myself in the end from one person who really wanted to love this camp why have I heard about the same story from another situation and parent before too?

They also left me waiting more than 30 minutes for early pickup and said they thought I'd been helped, then told me to wait until regular pickup time. If it was one problem I'd let it go. Plus I was trying to get a gauge of the prices of the trees with type and quality. I ended up getting my tree from them because not only was the 5 ft grand fir ($39) I picked out a super PINEY smelling one but the staff selling the trees were really friendly and patient and answering all my tree questions. My tree is also very furry, not a bald spot in sight and very shiny with soft needles. Staff and volunteer youth offered to trim brushes and the bottom of the tree to my liking. They also offer to bind your tree in plastic netting for transport, very helpful for me as I live in an apartment complex with stairs. They then strapped my tree to the top of my car =) Although the price of my tree was about $4 more than the same size and type of tree variety I chose from the other sights....there was something special about my tree and the people selling me the tree. It called out to me. Plus it had a very distinct and strong PINE smell, other lots trees didn't have that, other lots also had dry trees. My tree is super lush and green...love it, had to have it!! So worth it! For about $4 they also sell mistletoe which benefits the local boy scouts troop. Tree stands were $12 extra as well. The lot itself is also nice because its in a big lot with a tent covering the trees and they had holiday music and complementary hot cocoa and cider that the children were handing out. 100% of the proceeds of the sale go to the Los Alamitos Youth Center, so that makes me feel like I supported the local youth and still got something for the holiday.

I am a swimmer for over 42 years. I love love swimming at…read morethe J. The pool is so clean, welll organized by lifeguards, management, and maintenance crews. I start swimming at 6 opening time in the morning. Quiet, fresh, and fun to talk to the other swimmers. We have a challenge event to go to Catalina Island from LB from March and end in April. I almost finished one way to go there. I went to Catalina Island in the past and now I am back by swimming. Haha... super fun, relaxing in the beautiful upgraded heated pool, very spacious at the deck, lots of benches, and bbq area, jaccuzi, and etc. If you are a swimmer like me, you should come to try it out. If you love Aqua Aerobic, join the classes to workout w great music, awesome instructors everyday. You don't need to go to the other vacation resorts during Summer. Perfect get away to relax everyday.

Extremely disappointed. My son and his best friends (both are 4) signed up for this summer camp…read moretogether, and after 5 days, they both got kicked out of school. Day 2, the camp director Ms. Gee called saying that my son and his best friend were "play-fighting" all day and it was a destruction for others. She didn't know until after school was over because her staff didn't inform her - and said that she instructed her staff that they needed to tell her right away so that she can talk to the children. I asked her how he was doing otherwise, and she said that he was doing good in the classroom focused and working on his project; also asked if they were hurting other kids, but no, she said that those kids were just this superhero and that superhero and "fighting." I was told that this was the first warning and if the same happens again, they will be asked to not come back to the camp. Although I thought a little weird as that's what the boys do all day long, and it is the adult/teacher's job to guide them and tell them that it is not acceptable - but I showed my support and told her to go ahead and please separate them and put them in the different classrooms to prevent the issue. Sure enough, both kids' parents had a conversation with them and hoped this wouldn't happen again. 5th day, the camp director Gee called again before 12noon saying that my son kicked his best friend and his best friend hit him back, so we need to pick them up immediately and they are not allowed to come back to the camp. We totally understand that our son should never hit other kids under any circumstance - never. We know both kids and do playdates, so we know that sometimes they get carried away and start fighting; but also know that they will be smiling and playing together after 2 min. They are only 4 years old. They will continue to make mistakes, and it is our job to teach them that it is not ok to do so - over and over again. I feel like if you have any experience with little children, one should know how to handle the situation better; but the director seems young, and all of their staff seem teenagers, so they prob do not know how to better handle the situation. They went to the same school for a year, and we didn't get a single complaint from their teacher - of course, I heard they went into time-out from time to time. There is no way they were acting any different than at school or on a playdate, and if you know how to handle young children - especially energetic boys - you know what to do. Let me also note that every day, he comes home without his lunch box, change of clothes, or hat. So, not much organization going on? For the 5 days he was at the camp, he came back with new crafts and it was super exciting for us. The staff seems nice and smiling and good people. It is so unfortunate and upsetting that instead of having an awesome summer camp together with his best friends, they got kicked out and now everybody is upset. Parents feel bad for what happened to their kids, and how this experience ended this unexpected way, AND we'll have to find a new childcare arrangement for our kids. Again, if you were hosting a summer camp for a bunch of 4 years old, I would have imagined that the staff is somewhat experienced to handle the situation better. Guide them, embrace them, and help them so that they will learn how to be in society rather than simply kick them out after 5 days because you don't know how to handle them. We will continue to do what we need to do as a parent - teach them a consequence, and what's acceptable and what's not in society. We wish our children would have been given an opportunity to experience what the camp has to offer - their first Summer Camp Ever. We have to say that our experience with the camp was extremely disappointing.

When he sees his yellow Playsports Kids t-shirt hanging up in his closet, he always gets excited and asks to wear it. I'm pretty sure he thinks that wearing the shirt makes them appear at his school. This week when we got the yellow shirt out of the closet for him to wear for class, he actually cheered HOORAY and started making victory poses around his bedroom. He's learning a lot and having a great time. We're big fans in this household.

She wants to…read morestop attending, so I have been trying to contact someone from their office to give notice of cancellation prior to next month due date. It has been a week since I emailed them to confirm cancellation via their email system on their website. I haven't heard back yet. I have left a couple voice messages on their one and only contact phone number listed on the website. I am concerned that they will make me pay another month's tuition since I have not heard back. This is unprofessional and a bit scary that I can't seem to talk or get in touch with anyone at this company. I really hope to hear from someone soon... I received a call back from someone, the following day. She stated that she was in class all day and apologized for not returning call sooner. I appreciated her call back and she sounded very sincere.
