I tried this out as a groupon first but ended up buying a package of massages. This place is a little off the beaten path. My first trip there I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance (which is on the side of the building and doesn't necessarily look like a "spa") so you should give yourself a few extra minutes to find it. But, the search was well worth it! They have made the inside feel very nice and relaxing. I have never had to wait when I arrive- they were quick to get me a clipboard with their forms so I could indicate my relevant history and preferences the first time and quick to get me in a room and started on my massage the next time. But, they didn't just shove me in a room or anything- they provided a glass of water first and took my coat for me, leading me into the room. The rooms are very comfortable and warm with soft, calm music playing. The masseuses really know what they are doing! My masseuse earlier today was Anna and she was fantastic! They do a great job working on trouble spots and are good at working with whatever pressure you are comfortable with. I even drive up here from Plainfield now since we moved. I am also hoping to try out their facial services sometime soon and will update this after that! I loved my experience at this spa. The staff was very friendly, and the massage was very much tailored to what I wanted; I simply explained this to the woman at the front desk and she conveyed it to the person who did the massage. I originally went here on a LivingSocial coupon, but after this great massage, ordered a card with three more massages. Just went for my second and it was wonderful. I almost fell asleep on the drive home! While I too had an experience of music that was a bit too fast in tempo, I simply gestured and the music was turned to a more gentle sound. My sister and I came here on a Sunday and we loved it! Ava did my massage and she was great. She really worked on the knots in my back which hurt a bit but was much needed! the massage was a true HOUR. I hate getting massages that end at 48 mins but I paid for 60mins. The mimosas were delicious and I loved the customer service Lynn the owner/manager provided. this was my sisters first massage and before we left we scheduled our next appointment. I booked a couples massage with champagne for my husband and I through a deal site. I hadn't seen any reviews for this spa, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The receptionist was very friendly, the champagne was delicious, and we ended up having the most relaxing couples massage we'd ever had. Both my husband and I actually fell asleep at one point, even though we were well-rested. I highly recommend Avia. I sought out my favorite spa today to see the new place today. I went to MoCee on 82nd and allisonville Rd. 4939 E 82nd St. I wanted to see if I could get a another gift certificate for mother's Day. The new place looks awesome! There's nice tile floors, beautiful colors and decor. It seems they have a lot of new pretty ladies to help with all of the new business they are getting. The best spa in Indiana in my humble opinion. I purchased a groupon for couple's massage about a year ago. I brought my mom who was in town for a visit. We had a great experience! I signed up for their annual membership and has been coming on monthly or sometimes biweekly (if needed) basis for massage. The staff is always friendly and respectful. Their massages are FULL hour and help with my neck pain and headache. For such low price, they offer an excellent quality service. Great investment in my health. We went in for the valentine day special and the package we chose included pedicures, facials and massages. They all did great jobs!!! We went last year and it has gotten even better! My face and feet are so soft and the massage left me feeling so relaxed and pain free! I highly recommend! Even with a super busy day they did not slack on the service! This is the best hidden secret spa in Indianapolis surrounding area. I visit Kim one to two times a week and she is the best massage therapist I've ever had. It's not only that the massage is great the service is the best. They have come in early and stayed later for me more than once and they truly care. I usually go in for massage but have had the facials and there just as good. I even have had them come to the local business I run to do massages for all employees. By far my favorite spa in Indy. Yes, not in the typical place where you might find a spa but the location has a quiet, warm, enviting atmosphere inside, which is where it really counts. I've been more than 10 times in the last year and bought gift certificates for my staff for Christmas. It's not all about massages though. I use a lot of groupons for massages and have had mixed results but Avia was the BEST !! I have now joined their monthly service which I have never been even tempted to do before. The rooms are quiet and music at a perfect level. The massage was the exact pressure I needed. Teno is my masseuse and always finds the points that hurt and work them out.They are very conscious of modesty and make every effort to ensure it--that is important since you are more or less unclothed. I just moved to Fishers and have tried out numerous Spa's in Carmel and Fishers. I decided to try out Avia Spa because it wasn't too far from my house. I came here and had a lady by the name of Anna and she was AMAZING. I get massages to relax and I finally was able to do that. She actually did a full body massage and didn't cut my time short like most Spas. The service was great, atmosphere was relaxing and I already booked another massage for a month from now. Great place for a relaxing couple's massage!! Originally bought a Groupon and love it so much we keep coming back. Owner is always polite and they are always accommodating. It's a bit hard to find the first time as someone else mentioned, but once you find it, the spa has a very relaxing atmosphere. Didn't have any problems with tipping as someone else mentioned. Was in Indiana last week and although the weather wasn't good and well not my favorite city. I went back to a place I have been several times for a back massage and that took me right out of a city I didn't want to be in to actual paradise in my mind.
