Went in for a facial and it was one of the best experiences in my life! It was so relaxing and so peaceful. The woman doing my facial was fantastic. She had a gentle touch and made sure to let me know if a product would tingle or sting and warn me when she was getting whiteheads out of my face that it might hurt. Amazing staff! Even those that were not taking care of us would stop over, say hello, and were just very pleasant. Joanne took care of my grandmother's hair and Valerie took care of my grandmother's pedicure. Both did an amazing job and were so patient with her! INCREDIBLE. INCREDIBLE. INCREDIBLE. I haven't had a better experience at a salon before in my entire life. I had NO idea this place even existed and happened to find it through a Google search. I called Aviara wanting to see if they had any availability for a facial. I wasn't expecting them to seeing as though it's Valentine's Day and it was such short notice but I figured I'd give them a call. I called, and they said they would get in touch with their aesthetician and would give me a call within the hour. 10 minutes later, I received a call from the owner saying they could fit me in! Hooray! I arrive and am immediately greeted by Joanne at the front desk. She and I make polite small talk as I fill out the facial form. I realize I'm early for my appointment and ask if I could have my old gel polish removed. The owner says sure, why not! As I'm getting my polish removed the owner and I chat for maybe 10 minutes. She is very polite and friendly! Turns out her daughter goes to school in the district where I teach as well. It's time for my facial! Galina, the aesthetician is so sweet! She explains what she'd be doing for the facial and asks if I'm comfortable and feeling okay. The massage part of the facial was fantastic. I've never been more relaxed. She did this awesome scalp massage which was my favorite. She recommended some products to help my skin which I was very grateful for. I also decided to get a quick pedicure before I left. Such a great pedicure and great color selections. I'm very happy with the results. As I'm getting my pedicure, the owner gives me some little samples of the products that Galina recommended. She's awesome! I can't recommend this place enough! The owner said they recently remodeled the salon as well. I don't know what it looked like before but it is so NEAT AND CLEAN. The color scheme they chose definitely complements the salon - white, grey, dark blue. I think I've found my salon and spa. They have everything - massages, facials, hair, nails, you name it! Aviara is a wonderful salon with an incredibly talented and friendly staff. The pricing for services is very reasonable and the stylists really take the time to listen to your ideas. I had my hair colored with organic dyes at 9 months pregnant, and I love the result! Aviara offers organic dyes as well as traditional dyes, and I would use the organic dyes even if I wasn't pregnant. The stylists love to talk to you during your service, so it really feels welcoming. I'd recommend Aviara any time of day. A must 'do! ;-) read more

The people who work there are very lovely, and when I've gone to them to get a haircut, they're very gentle and actually listen to what I want done with my hair, unlike the last person I saw for haircuts. Simply wonderful! During the month of October I received a voucher from my cancer center for a free wash and blow dry or free manicure. At the time I was going through chemo and couldn't use it. I decided to hold onto it for later. Last week I found this voucher. And now that I'm through with chemo I decided to see if they would still honor it. The man I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and accommodating. He got me in for a manicure right away. I'm still bald so I wouldn't benefit from the wash and blow dry. When I got there, the salon was clean and modern. They were setting up for a private party. The entire staff welcomed me. I opted for a gel manicure and told them I'd pay the difference. The owner even came to make sure I was okay. They offered me coffee, tea, and water. The nail tech was gentle and took her time. My nails look beautiful. Even at 1 week out they still look fresh. I recently had a mind blowing, skin glowing experience with aesthetician Mary Donahue at Aviara Salon and Spa! The salon staff was very warm and welcoming. The room was relaxing and the product Mary used on my skin still has me glowing a week later! I highly recommend the microderm abrasion treatment to smooth out my acne scarring and larger pores. This salon is the best !! Everyone is very friendly and they put you at ease the minute you walk through the door .. very clean and the decor is very elegant but comfortable !! I called this salon in desperation I had just had my hair dyed at a different place and the color came out horrible !! I was looking for someone to fix it fast called many places no one could get me in for days !! The owners husband answered the phone when I called I explained my situation he said come by the salon let my wife take a look at your hair and she will decide if she can help you !! I went there the owner came right over and said she could help me !! I was scared I was afraid my hair would end up damaged or worse . She put me at ease explained how she was going to fix the color and did so !! It took only 20 minutes and my hair was back to the color I wanted it to be !! It looks awesome !!
