They have ducks and a huge eco system that even include little frogs. Watch out for duck droppings, and no feeding the ducks. Now the playground area is all fenced off. No water fowl are allowed to play with the kids. So channel your inner child and go place. Life is pain, but we are playing and getting rid of some of those scars. The playground here is all ropes and climbing. Wow! Can you climb up to the top and back down. Not fall on your face. I did it! No hospital! Yay! Now, bring the family and see the world around you . Lots of furry babies were walking their owners this morning. What an amazing place. Beware of goose dust! Walk the whole park and get your steps. At the end is a water fall . It's a nice little walk around. Come and play ! If you have little kids this is a place to visit the dinosaur area is cute. Get out and explore! Play and challenge yourself! Right now the main playground is closed for the month due to construction (it looks like they're replacing the ground), which was a little disappointing, but there's still plenty to enjoy. The pond is the highlight, filled with ducks, turtles, and pigeons, which makes it really fun for kids (and adults) to watch. There's also a peaceful waterfall that adds a calming vibe, and several bridges you can walk across that give you great views of the water from different angles. The walking paths are wide and perfect for strollers, bikes, or just a nice casual walk. There's also lots of open grassy space for picnics, playing, or just relaxing. Even with the playground closed, it didn't feel like a wasted trip at all. We'll definitely be back once construction is finished to experience everything fully.

There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.

The little shark grip socks they gave the kids were such a cute touch. Our favorite parts were definitely the large trampolines in the back and the slides. Overall, the experience was good. The staff we interacted with were friendly, and the employees helping with the birthday party were especially nice and attentive. The pizza was also surprisingly good! The party room was a little small, but there was more than enough room for around 10 kids. If you have a larger group of adults, though, it could feel a little cramped. One thing parents should be aware of is that there didn't seem to be a lot of staff monitoring the play areas or enforcing the rules. There were also quite a few parents who appeared to drop their kids off to play while they stayed in the parent lounge, so if you have younger children, you'll definitely want to keep a close eye on them. The facility also felt pretty warm, especially considering how hot it is in Vegas right now. After chasing toddlers around for a while, we were absolutely drenched in sweat . I also think the facility could benefit from a really deep cleaning. The toddler area in particular felt a little sticky and dirty, which I understand can happen in a kids' play facility, but it was noticeable. Another downside was the arcade. The games were around $5 each, which I personally thought was pretty expensive. Overall, I'd give it 3/5 stars. It's definitely a fun place for kids to burn off some energy, and my toddler really enjoyed himself. I think I'd personally come back during an early weekday morning rather than on a weekend, since it gets very busy. If you're bringing little ones, just be prepared to stay nearby and keep an eye on them.

The information desk is staffed by Rangers, ours was a young lady Ranger who was extremely informative and helpful. We spoke about the trails, possible wildlife sightings and staying hydrated. The Visitor Center is full of information presented in displays that are well done & eye catching. There is a small theater with a short movie that talks about the area and the history of what and how different fossils were discovered. The trails are well marked, recommend sturdy shoes, and plenty of water - it was hot and even with shade areas brutal so start early and hydrate, hydrate and hydrate. There are informative displays throughout the park. There are also metal sculptures of what once roamed the very ground we walk on today. A fascinating place to visit and I definitely recommend.

A mammoth roamed here! Sure right!…read more Actually it's been proven right here where this ice age fossil museum stands. In the 1960s, "the big dig," took place. During the 1960s, an ancient site, this very site was a huge trench! They have made it so you can walk the original trench that was dug in the 1960s. It's actually a real trench . Now not a lot was found! But mammoths here in Vegas! It's because the area used to be a lush green forest and at some point in history under water. They lay out all the layers of dirt, you can see the ages over time! It's incredible. Let's get our nerd on! They have highlighted a trail with animals that would have been alive during these times with the mega fauna. Now they have not included the flora of the past. But the animals and facts are all marked on a small trail . Walk and learn! During the "big dig," the funding was limited. In fact these show images of where the anthropologists and scientists camped here on site . The breath of the past is here! The foot of man can not be seen here in a large pattern. They have found stone tools that date all the way back to the 1880s, but they cannot prove anything. The mammoth remains are incredibly valuable. We had mammoth here in Las Vegas. Come and let your imagination wander! This is a great place for the littles of the family. The community is involved here with art lovers from all grades and their drawings in the actual museum portion of the exhibition. Your price per person is only $3.00!
