My neon purple zip up that I washed very gently yet still had it get all jacked up just like my pink hoodie .

I was so excited to buy this brand and loved how soft they were . my tan sweatshirt had been great but I purchased to bright colored sweatshirts. one purple and one pink and they are impossible to keep its color and I washed them on cold inside out and hung to dry and still left white wash stains all over it and they actually told me "it's better to spot clean it and try to not wash often" this is crazy to me for the price I should be able to wash my sweatshirt and not have the color fade and get distorted . very bummed

The food here is delicious! Chips and guac are a must - the chips arrived hot, fresh, and super crispy! We got one of almost every pizza and loved them all (my favorite was the one topped with arugula). As for drinks, I loved the spicy margarita because it was very balanced and not too sweet.

Aviator Nation is the ultimate clothing brand for all the cool cats out there! Founded by Paige Mycoskie in 2006, their apparel exudes comfy vibes and 70s flair. With a worn-in, vintage feel, their unisex styles take you on a journey through time. From surfers catching waves to rainbow stripes stitched everywhere, their designs are a total blast! They even hand-draw details like lightning bolts and trippy maidens. And guess what? They even make surfboards! Collaborating with stars like John Mayer and SoulCycle, they support great causes. I saw a bomber jacket on my last visit that had patches sewn in all over... so cute! the price tag was $1500 ! I wish I could afford their incredible threads!

This place has the coolest retro vibe. You kind of just have to walk around and take it all in! There is a stage where they have live bands and cute little eclectic tables arranged around the room that face the center of the room. We ordered the guacamole that came with homemade chips. The chips came hot and fresh and the guacamole was exceptionally delicious with just the right amount of spice! I had the Carne Asada tacos and my boyfriend had The Sunrise bowl that came with eggs, rosemary potatoes, cheese, arugula and avocado. He gave me bites and it was so yummy! My tacos where off the charts as well and tasted super fresh! Last, but not least we ordered a Cadillac Margarita to share and it was perfectly balanced, so we plan to definitely come back for those as well!

Feels very 70s porn vibe ! Really cool stuff though!

Super cool specialty pieces in this place . The vibe 70s shag rug porno set from that first porno that you seen at your friends house when you were a teenager. LOL dang hoodlums ! Just between us don't tell nobody. Shhh ! Today half of it is a clothing store soon it will become a lounge cocktail spot sounds like nice . Definitely stop in for some cool 70s clothes must have! Five star experience just in the 70s decor!

5 stars for the staff but 2 for the quality of which I paid for. I paid a great amount of money for a t-shirt that was supposed to get softer as it washes. I have taken 150% care of this shirt for months, to oblivion! There is fabric pilling everywhere, it feels bumpy? I can't believe I paid that much for a shirt to not be soft anymore.

Very cool retro store. Definitely took me back to the '70s/'80s era. Quite a bit pricey for me even with a holiday sale going on.

The chocolate base in particular is deep and creamy, with a texture that feels more like gelato than standard soft serve. The Malibu location really elevates the experience: relaxed outdoor seating, ocean-adjacent vibes, and a calm, sunny atmosphere that makes it ideal for a post-beach treat. I was not expecting this at all especially from Kith who's more known for clothing. There was a line to get in but for clothes, separate entrance for soft serve with no line. Most of the menu had soft serve with a type of cereal mixed in. We ordered a few to try. I thought it was ok overall. Service was nice. Price was a on the moderate to high for what it is imo being simple soft serve with cereal and not having anything unique flavors that stood out but were in Malibu folks so as expected.

To be honest, Fendi dragged me inside and liked the blue tie dye hoodie. The shop staff, maybe the owner, was cordial towards me and Fendi. There was a beautiful print long kaftan like dress that caught my attention. Upon inquiring, the shop owner was delighted and wanted me to try it on. This dress was the priciest item in the store, it figures! I'm always drawn to the spendy stuff :( When I don't have Fendi in tow, I'll return to try in on...although I know for a fact loose clothing looks better on a hanger than on me :/ form fitting looks better on my physiqué. The shop mostly has things tourists like. Everything from sweatshirts, hoodies and baseball caps in tie dye and labeled ' MALIBU' It goes without say, most locals will not wear this labeled MALIBU. Nonetheless very eye catching and cute and probably cool for some and worth a look see visit.

A shiny big hat inside Encore drew me in, see the pic. It was expensive, and I was told of a celeb who bought one. I looked around at the clothes, and they were more than just sharp, they were fun. And I'm a girl who loves to have fun. Then I spotted those green glasses on the counter. Tried them on, with the green outfit I was wearing. Found out they were on sale for 20% off. Enough. I was sold. But......the strength I needed had to be ordered, so that was done. And a few days later I got the call to pick them up. Obviously, service here is perfection. And friendly to boot. I told Encore's proprietor, Diana, all about Yelp. And now I'm telling Yelpers all about Encore. And not everything at Encore is expensive. My glasses ended up costing 50 bucks, not bad for great quality. And I got a matching green case as part of the deal. I would have paid 30 bucks for reading glasses at Walgreens, and they would have been ugleeeee, and minus the cool case. Momma Yelp will be rockin' those sweet green specs at the Holiday event, look out.

The stores are limited to Southern California; so, when I first moved to Los Angeles and began to explore (shopping is an activity that I just can't help but do everyday, whether I had it in mind to do or I had a full day in my "planner" ...actually, back in 2007, I did have a big "At-a-Glance" planner with an entire page per day... Anyway, I stumbled upon the Calabasas Commons because I had looked up in that app, "Around Me" and found that close to one of my three jobs I worked while going to School for my Doctorate, the Calabasas Commons was on my way home from work to where I lived in West Hollywood. I stopped by right away because it mentioned a Barnes & Noble being one of the stores there. First, I spotted M. Fredrick. I saw those gorgeous, hand-picked by their buyer. I didn't realize quite how much less expensive ever was in LA compared to San Francisco. Now, this many years later, it's no longer a thought nor a thing because I've lived here so long, but it was astonishing to me back when I was freshly 22. I picked out about 20-25 pieces of the most beautiful jeans, sweaters, shirts, shoes, tank tops and dresses. I also bought a pair of sweatpants that felt like thick silk, but mostly, like a white tiger- they were the first thing I bought the next morning on my break from work; so, I vividly remember that they were $600 before tax, which, to be honest, I did think they were on the pricey side, but I didn't think of it again. The many items I had purchased the afternoon prior came to almost $23,000, but I never ever in my life looked at prices of anything, so, it was no thing and to this day, I remember probably 7/8ths of what I bought. The clothes were definitely worth it and I would do it again, even now. The only problem is that they don't make clothes how they used to. We don't have the materials or aren't willing to use them on designer boutique clothing. Every chance I could, I went to an M. Fredric store for the next 10 years.
