#1. Two Street Tacos Birria and carne asada

Tried Aviles out for the first time and maybe I just had a bad day but the tacos I got were just very dry and lacking for my taste. I tried the carne and birria tacos and I would have a hard time saying these come anywhere close to some of the tacos I've had in Omaha. I also got some red chile chicken tamales and they were pretty good! Defintley better than the tacos. I might try something else next time as the reviews really made me feel like it would be better than what I experienced.

I HAVE TOLD ALL OF MY FAMILY ABOUT AVILES! And when they come to visit me, this is where I'm taking them. First of all, the family who owns it are the sweetest people ever. So kind, great service, and I love that there's a grocery store attached. It doesn't take long to prepare and the meals are made fresh. I've visited a few times and have yet to find something I don't like. The prices are reasonable, the food is authentic and delicious. They don't skimp on the meat and it is so so tender. Get the enchiladas, there's cream cheese in them (what?!?!). An order of the small enchiladas lasted me a few days because with the chips and dip it will fill you up quick. If you're looking for birria, this is your place. I pretty much fed our family of 3 for two days off of the chips, salsa, queso, guac, birria quesadilla and taco meal. And I woke up craving it the next morning. This is going to become a regular for me! You're sleeping on Aviles if you haven't been yet. Love this place!

I've been wanting to try Aviles for a few months now. I've seen people post on Omaha Food Lovers and everything looked so fresh. I bought two of the take and bake enchiladas in chicken and beef, medium salsa, guacamole, chips, and two drinks. They had to go meals, tons of spices, different snacks, frozen food and their take a bake options. The enchiladas were very good and had great flavor. I would definitely get them again. I thought they were better than Eric's Enchiladas from the farmers market however, Eric's Enchiladas fresh flour tortilla chips are definitely preferred over the chips here. The juice drinks were also fun to try. It was slightly confusing to get there per my phone directions, however, the signs helped to get you in front of the market. I would definitely go back and I would try some of their deli options and need to spend more time looking around at everything they have to offer.

Fried tamales and eggs for breakfast. I bought their masa!

I have now personally tried the tamales and they are incredible. Perhaps the best I have ever had.

Add about 3 - 4 bucks this menu price isn't correct. Green salsa not bad a little on the sweet side for me.

Bought a whole rotisserie chicken, rice, some beans that were on steroids, a steak fajita dinner, and some birria tacos.

Ran some errands and figured we'd swing by and grab some items to make sushi at home for a date night. Was I pleasantly surprised when I walked in? 100000% yes! Quite honestly I didn't have any expectations as I've got nothing to compare it to yet, but between the well laid out aisles, ZERO odor (they've got some sea food, spices, teas.. chill folks) greeting you, PLENTY of product, excellent prices you have to make it at least once! Now I didn't go for the whole frozen octopus, or the mochi for dessert, but I did toss in a few 20% proof (woo) Sake that I'm quite excited about (the sweet gal made sure I knew it'll be cloudy, so appreciated that!). Do I have children chop sticks - you know, with the cute little design or animal, perfectly spacing the "how" to use - 100000% I do! Those little rice candies? The bring back childhood eating one rice paper wrapper at a time (it's actually edible!) super fast! Never mind that very underrated fruit, LYCHEEEEE! It's like if Peter Pear and Molly Mandarin had a baby, and named it, Lychee Jolene "Taste Like" Pear-Mandarin. Am I wrong?! Yall gotta go Oh also? I didn't realize pictures or videos aren't allowed without permission, so if OOFG is in here, IM SO SORRY..

She was finding the brand, type of item she was looking for almost everytime. We ended up spending more that we planned but that ok. Everything will be eaten/used to make delicious meals. And I have to say the store was clean, organized and stocked very well. The staff was restocking shelves as fast as they could. We were even greated by one of the managers who made sure we had everything we needed. And be sure to hit the drink (boba) stand in back.

They even have a small asian deli with cool boba drinks, asian cakes and sandwiches reminescent of japanese and korean bakeries. Service was good!!
