Food was good, but not the best that I've had. Service could've been better. They do have outdoor dining if you prefer that.

A hidden gem except to locals. Went there with three friends on the recommendation of a local…read morefriend who knew the manager. Friday night was busy so expect a wait. The ambiance falls between casual and fine. Cannot say enough about the options. All four of our meals were excellent and prices for what you received were very fair. Known for their Italian dishes (and fish fries) I tried the veal parmigiana with angel hair pasta id it was great. If you can, order a side of greens which were really flavorful. Dessert options are limited but we were too full to even consider any. I am sure they are good. You can take your date or your whole family.

I got a to-go order from this place last night; it was the "Fireplace Philly."…read more It deserved one star, but the use of real potatoes for the fries earned them, barely, the second star. First, the sandwich. Bun NOT TOASTED. Lazy cooks; unacceptable. Toast the bleeping bun! I like cheese as much as the next person, but I didn't ask for a taffy-pull sandwich with flavorless mozzarella (which should've been white American or provolone) that was piled at the bottom of the thing, but should have been mixed in with the beef and onions. The bell peppers they added were okay, but peppers don't belong on a Philly. The onion slices were very large, very few, and on the al dente side. Inconsistent slicing and cooking. Lazy cooks. The ground beef -- not the appropriate thinly SLICED beef; it's a Philly CheeseSTEAK sandwich -- was very DRY and somehow, even with the inappropriate peppers and the onions mixed in, it lacked seasoning. It was bland. Very bland. You know where these folks made up for the lack of the sandwich seasoning? By drowning the fries in salt. While I was pleased to see real potatoes used, the salt dump made them pretty much inedible. I hate throwing food away, but the salt was overwhelming. It's an absolute truth that you never get a second chance to make a first impression; this is especially true of restaurants. The "Fireplace Philly," at $13.99, was over-priced and below average. I have zero incentive to give this place a second chance.

The place is beautifully decorated and the outside views of the golf course and the huge manmade lake are spectacular (see photos). The food....oh mamma the food! This buffet style event included pasta with marinara, Italian greens, Chicken Milanese, garlic green beans, Italian sausage and peppers, carving station with Angus Sirloin, Caesar and tossed salad options and their homemade peppers and oil. Zero and I mean zero complaints on any of it. From the perfectly cooked and tender sirloin to the Chicken Milanese to the pasta, all was absolutely delicious. The dessert table or as we call it here in Youngstown, "The cookie table" included mini cannoli, mini Bundt cakes, homemade cookies and cupcakes. This was not provided by the venue but still worth mentioning because all was delectable. After dining, I proceeded to the outdoor deck that overlooks the ninth hole and the lake and enjoyed a nice after dinner cigar with friends. Great food with great service and great views, this is a solid five star venue. I hope to be able to attend another event here in the near future. Everything was that good.

I found this to be extremely disheartening and discouraging, as the condemnation stemmed from sheer racism and Islamophobia. I had reported a coworker a week prior for threatening to "kill a Muslim if IT" came near him, at work on the clock... he finished his shift. Yet me advocating for Palestinian rights outside of work, off the clock, cost me my job. I just feel like people have the right to know what kind of business they're supporting-- and at The Lake Club, you can be served by someone who threatens to kill people in the kitchen, but not someone who says "free Palestine" 7 hours away from the club.

The French onion soup was cozy but bland while the mushroom ravioli was outta this world delish. The flatbread was good, but one note in flavor and too doughy to be considered flat. First the stunning views from the deck are exactly what one wants to see when sipping on wine and having charcuterie. The wines. I love you can do a flight at the table in addition to the tasting bar. This is a plus for me as someone who would like to take their time when trying multiple wines. I also live that you can add a single sample to any flight this is very customer friendly. The food. We ordered the charcuterie board (Def get it for 3+ people) and yes $30 may seen like a lot you get $30 worth of food and more. I left with two boxes! This is what I want for a lingering evening at a winery while having wine, visiting with friends and listening to easy acoustic music. Domenick was our server and he was such a pleasure. Knew the menu, knew answers to our questions, and was very friendly. (Everyone there was!) Cannot recommend this place enough for a night on the town if in the area.
