John was at the counter and got me set up. He was very nice and really helped to make my experience an easy and stress free event. The rental I got was very nice and was convenient in what I needed. I really like that backup camera and was able to hook my phone up for directions and hand free calls. I will rent here at the Baytown Hertz again for sure. Location is convenient. They call me the morning of pick up as I am walking out the door to tell me they didn't have a car and were CANCELLING. When I asked them to find me a car at another location the kid said he couldn't do that He also proceeded to say that his manager failed to call me the day prior to inform me of the cancellation. Called to make a reservation but had some questions about pickup which no one could seem to answer…read more I was transferred to a main reservations line where this receptionist was helpful and booked me for my reservation with pickup. After waiting 30 minutes on hold to be transferred back to the location to schedule my pickup I was told they 1) don't have the car type I reserved, and 2) don't do pickup on the weekends. This is extremely frustrating given the time spent making the reservation just to find out they could not honor what I had booked. When asking if there were any other options to accommodate me, they were not willing to upgrade the car type or do anything for the inconvenience.

I called Baytown Collision and was told " Don't worry about it we will handle it". I was told not to do any thing until Monday. Bradley said he had called them 3 times and no response. Three times really in how many days?! They never handled it. They took the car back on October the 10th and left me with a $768 dollar bill. A professional business would have called their customer that just paid them thousands of dollars and informed me that the rental was still in there lot. But my mom didn't have enough money for the fee or whatever, so for some reason we had to come here to get the receipt, and pay the remaining money? We had to wait 25 minutes for some dude named Brad. It should be noted that the office smelt heavily of some sort of air freshener, and it was giving me a headache. So, Brad comes by and starts rewriting our receipt, which is weird but whatever. My brother is angry and irritated, for obvious reasons. He was mumbling underneath his breath, mostly to himself. And that's when things got hostile. Brad began to yell and cuss at my brother, for being angry at himself? He was insulting my brother and I really thought things were going to get physical. Brad threatened not to give us our receipt (which I think is illegal?) The only nice person in the place escorted my brother out of the building, while my mother and I waited for Brad to finish writing the receipt. It should also be noted that on the receipt, the company name was 'Gulf coast towing' but the trucks said 'goose creek towing.' I wouldn't recommend coming here. It's so shady and the people are beyond rude.
