I had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived "Sam" told me they didn't have any cars. I told him I had a reservation and then explained to him the definition of "reservation". He became extremely angry and came out ftom behind the counter and wanted to fight me. I left immediately. Later I called to register a complaint. Sam lied about his name and told me his name was Preston. The guy running this place is completely unhinged. He shouldn't be running a store or doing anything involving customer service. read more

Location is run like ass. Had a car reserved for pickup, and rep calls to tell me not to show up cuz they have no cars. No offer to help find another one. When I informed them I had a reserved car I needed to pick up, was told simply too bad so sad sucks to be you. read more

If I could give zero stars I would after the experience I had today. I came to the rental office around 1:30 and there was no one in the office. I saw a doorbell to ring, so I did. Still no answer. I heard a vacuum in the back, so I figured maybe the guy can't hear me. I waited for the vacuum to stop, and rang the doorbell again, still no answer. I went to knock at the door in the back yelling, hello, and still no answer. I went back to the front, because I didn't want to go further inside, and starting ringing the doorbell again twice. All this took around 5 minutes, until a guy showed up looking upset. I said, "oh Hi I thought you couldn't hear me because of the vacuum haha." and he was very serious and said"...well it takes some time to come." ANd that gave me the first impression of, the guy did not want to be there, or was doing something in the back and was bothered that I was there. SO he then asks me, what I needed and I told him I need to rent a car if there are any available. He told me he only has one car available and the price would be $97/day. So now he was being rude, and I felt being taken advantage of. But I needed a car so I said, ok if thats my only option lets do it. He then asks if I'll be using a debit or credit card and I told him I don't have credit cards so I'll have to do a debit card. Then he says I will need to show two forms of utility bills to the address on my drivers license, and to provide something else, I cannot remember at the moment. I told him that's going to be a bit difficult for me to do right now because my phone screen is malfunctioning and if they have a computer or something I could maybe use to try to login to find the bills. He told me, no that they don't allow that. i asked if I could use my MIL credit card and he told me yes and I would be added on as a driver. So for the next 10 minutes I try to find some bills and try to login but I have difficulty because of my screen. WHile I was doing that, he was on the phone with his boss and his tone was completely different. He was telling him that everything was good and some other things and told the boss hope he enjoys his weekend and was super nice to the boss. After he hung up, he told me that if I can't give the information to him by 2 that he cuold not rent me the car because they close at 2. I asked him his name and he told me "Jack"...not sure if thats true. Then he said,"just so you know ma'am everything I've told you about providing the information is true and can be found online." And I simply told him, "it's not the information you are requiring from me, it's the bad customer service you have been providing me, you see that I"m struggling here to get the information and you have not been very helpful" . That was when he got offensive, and started saying how that wasn't true and that he has been nothing but nice and helpful. Which was nothing far from the truth. I then said I'm going to go get my MIL and get her credit card, I did that, came back and he said he needs her license and for her to be here, so I said ok let me go get her. As my MIL and I were walking to the office, he came outside holding out the credit card saying he is refusing service to me. My MIL was shocked and told him he was being very rude and he said yeah now I am, I am not doing service with you. He turned around and left. So that was that, and I'm terribly dissapointed in this rental place because I use AVIS often and now I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE. That man should not be in customer service because he does not understand what customer service means. Very rude. He simply did not want to help me out since the beginning. So now I am left with no rental. Thankfully I have family to help out with a car. This place needs new workers. read more

If I could give a 0 rating it would fit.the manager told me my confirmation letter didn't mean anything because he didn't have the economy car and used COVID as his excuse. Then attempted to charge me 900 dollars for my 300 dollar rental when I resisted he told me he could give me a deal at 600 then finally told me he'd give me a deal at 475.. the prcorded to intimidate me by saying if the car wasn't immaculate when returned I'd be charged 450 for cleanning After I left I called Avis Corp they said nope he can't do that. Super shady business practices. Rented 2 cars over a 60 day period, neither had any kind of cleaning inside (found water bottles, food, etc); I ended up cleaning one car of filth from a previous renter so I wouldn't get charged. Dropped off the 2nd car and was told it was "covered" in pet hair. No pet was in the car, the only hair was what would've been on clothing, etc. from the house (another reviewer had the same experience). Manager said he was going to charge me, considering they do absolutely no cleaning between rentals I guess this is really just a way to soak someone for some extra money. Also, be aware they do not do a pre/post walk around the car with you to check for nicks/damage so there is the opportunity for them to "find" things to charge you for later. They don't even go out to your car to get the mileage, they make you do that. Save yourself potential headache and go to Enterprise across the street. read more

Will never rent from this place again! The owner here is so horrible! He is an independent owner, but is supposed to still follow corporate rules. Doesn't have an overnight drop box for keys and will charge you if you are late. Doesn't care about customer service because he probably lost a lot of money (like we all did) during the pandemic. So he found every reason he could to up charge us. 4 day rental, $300. 50 min late, $290 charge. When I called customer service they waived the fee. When he found out that fee was waived, then all of a sudden there was "pet hair in every nook and cranny" and wanted to charge $250. Attached is the picture of what was going to cost me $250. Corporate also waived that fee because he didn't take pictures (probably because he wouldn't have been able to get away with the charge if he did!) I also think he tried to remove my discount because my 300 rental charged my card for almost $1,000. Beware, and watch your charges if you go here! Very shady! read more

Although It was VERY busy, Sam still took time and made me feel like my business was important. He acknowledged everyone that came in with a welcoming smile. Sam's knowledge and expertise was quite helpful the way he was able to navigate the system to ensure that I received exactly what I needed. I rented a 12 passenger van for spring break week. Those were in high demand and hard to find. Sam called to let me know chances of getting one were limited. I know of many others who had reservations cancelled. Sam worked with me to make sure we got a van and even got us a van that worked better for my son in a knee brace. read more

Absolutely the worst car rental experience. I went to pick up my car - after doing the pre-check in (don't bother with that - they still required my drivers license and credit card at the counter) and was told I needed another form of government issued id. I do not carry my passport with me at all times so wasn't able to comply and didn't have time to have get it before they closed (it was 30 minutes until close and I live 30 minutes away). I went back the next morning (three minutes after they opened) and was told no cars were available. I called Avis customer service and they had NEVER HEARD of a requirement to provide a passport. They were also not able to honor the pricing from the original rental (and quoted a price for TWICE the amount at a location three hours away). So now I'm putting the miles to Oklahoma City on my own car. I will never use Avis again. Wish I could give zero stars. read more
