Well, I had a problem with the Ford edge and the battery was dead and had to be towed away, everything was absolutely perfect in getting everything resolved for me! The manager there was working by himself yet took time out to help my husband try to get a new battery put in the key fob to see if that would solve the issue... When it didn't we called the emergency roadside service and they dispatched a tow truck immediately to my house... That was Westside Tow pros who handled the unlock and taking the car to the enterprise location where they do the repairs... This is where enterprise goes the extra mile for you... the manager called me about 8 AM this morning to ask me how everything went... And I let him know what happened... He apologized that the Ford failed me, and then said that he had entered it in as the toe ending yesterday instead of today, and that he would waive any charges because I was unable to take the car to have it washed and vacuumed and filled up before it was returned... So that in itself saved me at least 50 bucks! It also saved my insurance company six days in rental charges because I found a car of my choice yesterday as well! So my insurance company is not having to pay as much and I didn't have any extra charges to pay and everyone was professional, kind, and courteous!! I will never rent from any other company besides enterprise Rent-A-Car They're not only pick you up, but their service is second to none!

Most of the time I was picked up at the time I requested, the only exception is 20 minutes late, that's not bad. Right before Labor Day, the rates were kind of " jacked up." I am thinking it was a corporate decision and not a local one. I still took a rental as I like the "we pick you up" policy. I can understand jacking up the rates in major tourist areas, but, my observation is that Labor Day in Iowa is NOT a major tourist attraction. But again, the staff are professional, and rentals generally went smooth (except for one car that had a low tire pressure problem).

He stated if we wanted another vehicle for our trip it would be the higher price and they would refund my money, over $725, in 3-10 business days. But if we cancel it I will not get a refund. We canceled in the same day and the booking was supposed to be cancelled free of charge in the first 48 hours. Then called Priceline and they said they would refund it but will 7-12 business days. Took less than 7 minutes to take it. I will NEVER use Enterprise again!

So, I signed out my rental car and turned in the keys around 3:45 on a Monday afternoon. The next day, I got a call from an Enterprise employee saying that there was hail damage to the rental car overnight and it was going to be my responsibility (after I had already turned the car in). This was a nasty attempt by this agency to try and con money out of a customer for something that was clearly their responsibility. Thankfully the auto body shop stood up for me and helped make this go away. This was predatory behavior that might have worked on someone, which is why they tried it. I will not be using Enterprise again and I want to warn people about this experience.

They have an easy tablet check in where they can enter in your information, scan your card and scan in which car you are going to be with and then get you on your way. No long waits, and you get a receipt almost immediately. Staff is super friendly and explained everything in detail, especially some of the new technology in the car. Will definitely be using Enterprise in the future! They are the primary car rental company that I stick with because their customer service is fantastic.

They went over cost after insurance and then put the card down for the deposit. They had the car waiting at the body shop for me when I got there and picked up the rental car at the body shop when my vehicle was done. The staff is super friendly and makes sure you have all of your questions answered before you leave.

I regularly rent vehicles from Enterprise in Ames primarily for business but also for personal use…read more-- when needed. The employees are great. They're courteous, helpful, and work hard to make my renting experience easy and quick. My only suggestion would be to try to have more cars available. Like staffing, my guess is that's controlled by some corporate strategy/policy though.
